A true all-rounder!

I’m not sure about Song Kang but that’s Lee Jun Young’s real personality. He’s affectionate and likes to tease people he’s close too. You can see it in the Reborn Rookie BTS as well where he acts the same way to his senior co-stars.

Also, they only released those after the many complaints about how disappointing the content and duration of the Ep. 3-4 making and Ep. 5-6 making were. Maybe if no one complained, we would’ve gotten the same boring stuff as in the last 2 making videos.

Lastly, the FL probably doesn’t have as many BTS content as she isn’t in as much scenes. In the end, this show is ultimately a dual male lead show with the FL as a secondary lead. The show never tried to promote it any other way if you look at the posters and other promo content. Whether one takes it as straight friendship or queer is another story.

Also seeing how the script is written gives me more hope for a happy ending for both our main characters :)

Before anyone starts bashing the production team for toning down the BL elements, remember that this drama wouldn’t have gotten the budget, casting, and tvn weekend scheduling that it did if it stuck to the original script. I think it’s great that we got a well-made story which you could interpret either way, whether it be friendship or love.

Yup! I also read comments of people who watched it live saying that the live gayoje performance was even better and that the singing got toned down in the video posted by MBC!

Coincidentally, Kim Moonjung was also the director of Great Comet in Korea and Jung Eunji played the FL in its first iteration! Anatole is a very charismatic antagonist and he’d be perfect for it vocal-wise too hehe.

Yes, It would be great if he could do musicals again! One drawback though would be that bootlegs don’t seem to be a thing in Korea and so international fans like us wouldn’t be able to watch the performances :(

Agreed! He’s worked hard and his vocals have improved so much from his UNB days. He also always performs live even when there’s a lot of dancing involved. I especially enjoyed watching his performance of ‘Insomnia’. He also killed it in the MBC Song Festival; the grand prize was well deserved!

His version of ‘Hold Me In Your Heart’ was really good! He mentioned years ago that his dream musical role was Lola (Kinky Boots). I hope he gets to do it eventually like they joked about in Lee Mujin Service. Although personally, I would love to see him as Anatole in Great Comet if he were to do a musical hehe.

It’s amazing that he was even nominated twice in the same category! In the end, Geum Seong Je beat Yeong Beom lol.

Based on the character description, LJY’s character is the one more strongly described as a genius though.

It might be the other way around since LJY’s character is poor and SK’s character is from a wealthy family?

Sadly no news yet. All we have is the director vaguely mentioning that there are more stories to tell. We’ll have to wait and see!

I think doing Four Hands and Chairman Kang simultaneously will be more exhausting than the three projects since the overlap will probably be longer and it’s two main roles this time :( I wonder if Chairman Kang got delayed due to the FL change. I saw that it was initially scheduled to start filming on Sept. Although it probably would’ve been more exhausting to juggle that with the solo comeback.

If Four Hands gets confirmed, it looks like Junyoung isn’t getting much sleep again when it starts filming since he’ll have to juggle two main roles at once TT At least the other content have already been filmed.

He’ll definitely not be able to do another lead role like Who Are You until the second half of 2026 but he might already be enlisting for the Marines by then.

It seems like Who Are You was never confirmed by his agency to be under review and both lead actors went on to do other projects. I wonder if this is still pushing through.

It’s not officially confirmed yet but their names are listed in the CJ ENM sponsorship/ad proposals. No announcement on the FL yet though.
