DUANG Really Said "TO BE CRINGE IS TO BE FREE"
Not The Best, but Still Good -->> Lives upto the novel's name.To be honest, I had no hope in starting this series because I knew this would one of those cute-cute series again. But as someone who desperately wanted to see Por's acting onscreen again, i gave it a go. This series is mostly eye candy as the acting isn't that great to which I'm not blaming as they are new to industry. But they have somehow managed to bring emotions to it via
• Qin's past
• his traumas
• his complicated relationship with his parents • his reserved nature (to which I mostly resonate with)
• of how Qin views duang's family
Some scenes were jumpy, abrupt character development with reckless bits of story in between.
Hope to see more of NorthOtto (JamieMarvis) and ThiWave (TongPae). Overall lowkey my fav characters were Jamie , Tong and Pae. (& obvi, Duang's parents)

Trust me , You need this!!
Not your complex series but a simple and light one to kill time. (In a good way)I definitely enjoyed the story and especially the acting was top notch.
It delivered to it's full potential with limited budget and time.
Park June Mok (Cha Jaehyun) has done exceptionnal acting here!! You can come for me if u don't feel so!!
Overall Enjoyed the series!!! I love True film?!!!?

Sensitive & Well- made Deep Story Sidelined By Cute & Comedic-like Production.
If we had no problems at all, we'd never discover anything new in life or dare to do things we never thought we could. The story starts fresh, lively living upto its name, honestly no disappointing episodes at all. It keeps you engaging & hooked all the way till the heartwarming finale while touching and tackling numerous sensitive topics like :
• the actual rawness and difficulty in ASKING FOR HELP (Pobmek)
• DOING WHAT YOU LOVE V/S LOVING WHAT YOU DO
• PEER/ ACADEMIC PRESSURE
• UNDERSTANDING as roommates and the nervousness surrounding it.
• how EFFORTS IN RELATIONSHIP is important
A lot of people might not like it may be because of the childish posters which may call for lazy, comedic production. But it still stands far above it as the series also showcases the importance of real-life problems like :
• Involuntary Age Regression
• Childhood Trauma And Severe Stress
• Neglective Overly Controlling Parents
• Postpartum Depression
• Panic Attacks, Dissociative Amnesia
• Caregiver Stress Syndrome
• OCD
• PTSD
The acting, the cast- I have to admit that they really did a good job.
Lines from EP 10 which stayed and resonated with me.
° If we never faced problems in life, we'd probably never realize whose willing to stand by our side on our worst days, & well'll probably never know what happiness looks like.
° Sun is not really gone. Sun is me. I am Sun. We're a part of each other. He'll stay with us forever,in my heart.
° Good job for having the courage to show your feelings. We are all humans. Whether we are kids or adults, IT'S OKAY TO CRY IF WE WANT TO.
Overall the series balances the emotional conflict well, allowing us to experience each one of it with no ambiguity. Cudos to the team crew especially Perth, Santa, Kay and Sammy!!! I really loved Kay tho- he usually is potrayed as a villan , but here it was a whole new experiment of his comedic yet comforting character of being a source of support for Pobmek.

I LOVED IT!! & I'M SURE YOU WILL LOVE IT TOO!! YESSS!!!!!!!!
Trust me, This pinoy was absolutely way ahead of its time. The poster may mislead you for being just a cute teenage story ....yess the cuteness is there but with a Mature plot.Ps : Review may be biased because I love Gavreel too much cus I resonate with him a lot.
And also I love babying Cairo too much, becuz he is who I am irl!!! & PEARL --> Love you gurl!
They literally had me grinning from ear to ear all the way till half of the series only to cry my balls out in last 2 eps.
I enjoyed Gav's flirting - I personally felt like I'm there third wheeling btw my 2 fav pookies.
My heart ached badly when they got into a fight in the last 2 eps - It did not make me feel like I was watching a series, but it felt more like I was directly involved in a lovers LDR quarrel and that I have to try my level best to reconcile them. I just kept crying guys....I feel like both of them had extremely valid point for their disagreements with each other because we all see different aspects of life, we are all treated by life differently and that's okay!!
I feel like The Philippines, made THE BEST use of the pandemic than any other country/production ever could. Thanks to them, we got this amazing series. Definitely my top 10 BL series of all time, all languages!!!

REAL, HONEST, WHOLESOME, HEARTFELT, DEEP But Slightly Unstructured.
I promise you will not skip a single scene in this series!!! I actually started this series out of boredom, not expecting too much from it. But it was a blast to my idle brain! The series is very righteous, targets the evils mindset of the society which are still very much prevalent in developing countries where they see being a part and/or ally of LGBTQIA+ community is a disease or much like a sin and are perceived as not being true to self.
Overall great writing, cast, acting, decent production and a fantabulous storyline which delivered the much needed message to the audience!!! TRUST ME Y'ALL NEED THIS, JUST GIVE IT A GO!!!!!

WASTED POTENTIAL!!
Honestly, the choice of story was good but the Execution said "No, Not This Time!!!".The series went more like a romance series than a detective one ig?? By this I mean the mystery and thriller was missing, the story went sloppy.
The story resonates so well with the situations of friendships in new gen. It's all messy , no ethics, no baseline and inhumane - the story won in showing these things.
They started off really well, keeps you hook and keeps you guessing who's the killer in 1st half, and ofc the chemistry was there. The second half went quite predictable (may be like they wanted it to be). The cast blended really well with each other, definitely shows some good work out there.
But man!, Dunk's acting - idk if I'm the only one who feels like this -> it's bland and same since his debut as main role (Star and Sky)
I'm only telling this because Joong has this charisma he can bring chemistry with anyone he works with and can deliver his character really well. That's his aura + his acting is a really good plus point there.
~ Over all the series didn't leave me satisfied as it was an abrupt ending. It didn't answer :
• what happened to puifai? Did she die?
• Champ and Puth went to prison?
• Champ's father didn't resent his decision?
• no action was took against Commander Don?
• Kamin just continued to investigate with his suspension?? Also with a fake ID and how did he get gun at the last ep? And he just got away with it???
At the end of this, we are either Puifai or Jay in someone's/our own life. The decision to get out of toxic friendship is always with us and is definitely not easy. Takes a lot of bravery, courage and ofc money and power!!!

Not Everyone's Cup Of Tea , but I would give this a strong 8.3!!!
Once in a while, say YES to cliché plots!!LIFE IS CONNECTION OF EVENTS
A lighted hearted series , with no hard misunderstandings, tove triangle is what we or atleast I (as I resonate with FL) expect on a tiresome day and it definitely serves the purpose.
Starts off really well upto 3 eps, lags till 6 and picks up storylines from everywhere from thereon.
Overall appreciable characters, writing, story, acting and I actually feel the FL has much more potential and it's a pleasant watch.
A HAPPY DESTINY IS SURELY BY EVERYONE'S SIDE!!!

Definitely Keeps You Hooked BUT With Unnecessary Plot
STRONG START , AMAZING CHEMISTRY, GREAT ACTING WHICH LACKS A BACKSTORY!!!Overall notable mentions to Yoon Jisung's {Lee Il-jo} acting and Jeong Ri U's acting improvement. Never knew jisung could act this well!!
Coming to story, this definitely had the Potential To Be One Of The Best KBL BUT missed out on it only because of Useless Plot Changes and Timeless Character Development.
• Would The Story Be Same If Il-jo hadn't potrayed himself that weak to Jeong-han??
• Was jeonghan always that kind to all his cousins with his toxic behaviour in first few eps??
• Also about jeong-in's arrest , why did jeonghan did not do that beforehand as we all could estimate that jeongin would definitely hurt Iljo again??
There were a lot of plot holes which def did not add up together to make a great BL. If only they could present this whole thing well with even better editing!!!!!
Had to add that jeongin aka Lee Dong Joo potrayed the emotions really well.....well enough for me to get mad on him through the screen. Want to see more of CAFE MANAGER.....he lowkey was the show stealer.

Not your typical eye candy BL, but does it's job!!!
I understand the absence of yearning for new chemistry but it's composition as S2 is definitely praisable as it details into both positive and negative changes within the same story."It's not about winning against that person but it's about not losing to the other person."
This story overall explores strong love, passion for art, emotional discovery, role of each partner in a relationship and exceptional acting from all the cast.
Hayama figuring out what he actually wants in life, his dream, his emotions and more.
Definately the presence YAMASE and SAKUMA nailed the whole series by giving it a different dimension!!!!! Want them more!!
