Since Zaiye's plans to frame Wuyin failed twice, Taohua offered to help Zaiye by trapping Wuyin into gambling debts. Strangely, Wuyin actually fell in love with Taohua.

The second meeting, Wuyin accidentally found Taohua and wanted to bring her to his palace. Zaiye arrived in time and "poisoned" her to fool Wuyin into thinking she's dead.

Their third meeting was after Zaiye really poisoned Taohua and she ran away from him. Taohua stays at Wuyin's palace.

Zaiye is able to get her back when her Gu poison activates. Zaiye wants to kill Wuyin, but Taohua saves him.

The three meet again at the end.

Well the official poster wrote his name as "Gong Zi XX". Gong zi means young master, but their title is actually dian xia means his highness aka prince. It is too much of a work to submit all those titles. Just call them by their names or ranks (2,3 or 4).

Some people have difficulties to tell the differences between Wuyin (Gao Han) and Wuxia (Bian Cheng). idk if this helps:

Wuyin (Gao Han): he has sharper jawline, pointy chin, pretty boy face, from side profile, his nose bridge is bent inward, looking like he is always smiling.

Wuxia (Bian Cheng): he has wider jawline, almost square, small round lips, high nose bridge.

I would say: Gao Han is a smiling pretty boy, while Bian Cheng looks innocent.

They don't hate e/o. They just don't trust e/o. They came from different countries, enemies by homeland. However she will do anything to survive. Therefore she works hard to earn his trust and power to protect herself. He himself although at first he wanted to kill her, he admitted he found his match, equally smart and scheming. He also has fallen for her.

The romance is slow bcos they there was no trust. They need to build it first before they can start romancing. It is hard when both of them keeping secrets. Even in the novel they go through ups and downs, separations and reunions and they don't share their secrets.

Zaiye will kill Yang Wanqing when Taohua is held hostage by her. This will lead to her asking for divorce. This might be why Taohua then approaches Wuyin. She saw him with Wanqing at the store before. Then Zaiye tries hard to get her back.

My prediction:

I can't believe some people are still so happily discussing about Meng Ziyi's looks! Why are you discussing about someone's physique instead of discussing about the drama itself?

When someone is pretty, they accuse her having a PS. When someone is not up to beauty standards, they mocked her for being ugly. An actor did PS bcos they called him ugly, but after the PS they said he looks unnatural and looked better before.

If you don't like the actress's looks and keeps saying her looks distracts you, then WHY are you still watching? WHY torture yourself? There are hundreds of drama out there you can watch.

Personally I have 2-3 actresses that I hate and I don't watch any of their dramas no matter how popular they are. I don't waste my time by watching a drama with the actress I hate. I don't go around saying how ugly or fake or "unbearable to watch" they are. I drop a drama immediately after 2-4 episodes if it's not to my liking. That simple.

Drop it. That simple. Why torture yourself?

I skip all her solo parts and her romance with Wuxia. I only watch when she shares screentime with the leads. Her existence is solely for romance purposes.

In the novel, Wuyin is ambitious. He wants the throne, but he deeply loves Taohua. He keeps wanting to bring her back to his palace and makes her his future empress though he already has a wife. Wuyin is kind and silly, that's why Taohua pities him. Bcos Wuyin's straightforward love for Taohua, it makes Zaiye furious and jealous.

The main villain in the novel is empress Lu. Taohua will return to her country to deal with her and save her brother.

He fell first and will fall harder.

Those women were offered to him by other officials bcos he is the most powerful official in the kingdom. Those women are spies and he knows it well. He doesn't have any children with them bcos he never touches them. Even in the novel, his best friend is the one who does night duty with those women, not the ML. ML only loves FL that's why those women are confused why he treats her differently. ML even fell in love with FL at first sight.

They are not blood related since they have different surnames and remember when it was said he is the last surviving member from Xie family.

His name is Wuxia 无暇 means flawless.
While the genre wuxia is written as 武俠 means martial arts.

Indeed. They said "adapted from novel XX" or "based on novel XX", but some of them just use the character names while write a new story. However recent cdrama do have more HE than previous years.
