This is a period drama. Female centric. The FL is a poor girl from fishing village. She leaves the village and starts working in a clothing store. Then she starts building her own business.

I'm rooting for Mengli and Pei Jian too 😆

I binge watching this drama up to ep 14 in less than a week. This drama is good! I'm not a fan of any of the actors, although I'm fond of Mao Zijun.

First, I really LOVE the friendship between Tianhe, Lingsha and Mengli. So beautiful and unwavering.

Second, Han Lingsha is my fav character. I saw some comments saying she's fake and liar. She didn't lie to Tianhe bcos she wanted to. In fact she is always the first one who defends Tianhe. She's cute, realistic, logical and reasonable. Tianhe and Mengli are too kind, so Lingsha acts as the "brutal" one. When she says something, I go "Whoa... say it louder!" What she says is always spot on. I love how she scolds at the bullies (i.e on ep 14) 😆

Third, I love the "friendship" between Lingsha and Xuan Ying (black robe). I thought he is just another merciless cold assassin, turns out he is a softie. I'm curious to see how their friendship develops.

Fourth, it's kinda odd bcos usually the second cp starts their story almost at the same time with main cp, but here there is no hint of romance between them. In contrary, there is a hint between Lingsha and Ziying? 🤔

Finally, everyone in Qionghua except Ziying, Huaishou, Xuan Ji are evil! Perhaps Xuan Ye is good since she helps Tianhe, but I won't trust anyone until proven good.

Dongjin is 92er, Dahye is 93er. i saw some spoiler saying that Kwangtae is 97er, while Hwihyun is 99er. Hyewon is older so means she is 97er or 98er.

😆yes they are exes! It was obvious bcos of their vibe. Yujeong and Kwangtae's exes are not there yet, obviously since they are so chill just like Nayeon was. Yujeong is interested in Juwon.

Only 1 ep this week. Someone must have edited the schedule last week thinking that this week we would get 2 episodes 😥 Bcos the schedule is automatic, we have to edit it again to 1 ep per week.

I watched the spoiler and teaser for eps 6. For those who have been waiting for Seokyung and Yujeong screentime, they have it on ep 5 and 6 (next week). The tension between Yujeong - Juwon - Seokyung - Kwangtae will get bigger 😱 Seems like Seokyung still can't forget about Juwon. It's like love and hate (they broke up May 2023). She's having a dilemma just like Hyewon. Man, I'm rooting for Yujeong x Juwon, Hwihyun x Seokyung to have a date!

I also like their chemistry! They will have a date later. Ep 5 and 6 focus on Seokyung. Yujeong will be the focus on ep 6 too based on the trailer.

Imo, first: I think Dongjin doesn't want to see Dahye with other men. He said on ep 1 he didn't want Dahye went to grocery with Kwangtae. Then on ep 4, he was annoyed that Dahye and Kwangtae jogged together. Second: He still cares about her, but it is hard for him to see her bcos he is afraid he would cry.
