He was proven to have been in a relationship with a minor. How tf do people still support him ?
He conveniently admitted to dating her, after she became an adult. Get real! You believe that ! Especially after he knew her from 12 years old. You must be blind. He has money and he's a man in that fukd up society. He's beyond help!
They still haven’t confirmed whether this is an adaptation of the British series *Liar*. The characters and overall setup are quite similar, with a doctor single dad and son’s teacher, so I can definitely see why people think it might be. That said, I have my doubts. Liar gets pretty dark, and I’m not sure they would go that far for a drama airing on MBC. If this were a Netflix original, I’d have almost no doubt that it was an adaptation, but since it’s airing on Korean television, I’m less convinced. I also wonder whether they would really cast one of their renowned actors in a role involving a character who commits SA. I’m honestly really hoping it isn’t an adaptation, but I guess we’ll see!
Am I the only one who doesn't want a female lead. Like don't get me wrong, I don't mind no BL, if this Kdrama is about bromance and friendship, I'd love that soo much. Please no love triangle. I'm praying 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I read the Webtoon, haven't checked the drama out yet. I was soo surprised that this story got picked up, because of how problematic it can seem to viewers. I was more surprised that the reviews are positive, and people are not protesting to cancel this. Particularly how vehemently it shows the corporal punishment scenes. How are those depicted in the drama btw? Does Na Hwa Jin actually beat the crap outta bullies ? Like it's not censored ? I think his depiction in the webtoon is way to brutal for the drama. I did realise, for people who saw The Glory and other bullying dramas, might find this one a breath of fresh air. I wanna check it out since I really like the webtoon, haven't caught up to it since the ban tho. Also at one point the Webtoon got super repetitive, so I fell off reading it weekly. Webtoon readers Gimme your review, if i should check it out ?
Is this going to be a remake of the british tv series ? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liar_(TV_series) The characters feel really familiar, and even the name’s the same — doctor single father dates his son’s teacher. If it is then the show is actually super super dark. The male lead is basically the villain, so don’t expect any fluffy K-drama scenes here. Yoo Yeon Seok doesn't feel very villainous tho , I really wish it's different ,but the tags too kinda give it away that this is a revenge drama. I'm surprised they are airing it on tv so maybe they'll change things.I really really hope it's not the same story.
Yaa 😂. I feel like they didn’t give him many teacher moments coz all the students he’s playing teacher to were literally his age, some even looked older tbh.
Cha Eun Woo is like a whole new person – seriously, he's unrecognizable! I'm loving the vibe he's giving off, maybe it's the long hair? 😂 Can't wait to see him in this! Usually, he plays brooding characters in happy dramas (except for Island of course), but this feels like a total different drama. The whole premise of the drama is just sad. Soo Can’t wait!!!!
Somebody thought it is funny idea to make a couple where a man is fearing dogs and a woman changing into a dog,…
Honestly your right. They actually omitted a lot of things from the Webtoon about Jin Seo Won( the male lead) . In the Webtoon Jin Seo Won is abandoned by his family, coz his mother died of childbirth. So he was blamed and abandoned by his grandfather. Soo Yul’s mom raised him as her brother. Jin Seo Won is actually Yul’s older cousin. He actually had a pretty bland and depressing personality in the Webtoon, which was in a way charming. In this I feel like they made him too perfect, like he could sing , dance ,fight etc. just coz he was Cha Eun Woo.I swear that bully fight scene in episode 2 did not happen in the webtoon , it was cool, but it was soo not Jin Seo Won.I wish the writing was better. I felt like they omitted soo many Jin Seo Won moments from the Webtoon because they didn’t want Cha Eun Woo to play a boring character. But those moments gave Jin Seo Won depth, like the way he cared for his students, the uncle-nephew relationship in the Webtoon was soo good. They didn’t give us any of that, it might have been because Cha Eun Woo looks Soo young and jin Seo won had a more mature personality. I wish they would have catered more to the story than showing of CEW’s visuals. It clearly shows that , this was shot by an inexperienced director.
Okayy soo ima be real with this. I waited for this drama to release for almost a year, coz I loved the webtoon. Episode 1-6 : sooo worth it , It was fun and ♥️ 7,8 - were okay , episode 8 ending tho ♥️♥️♥️ Episode 9 - My fav episode, it was sooo cute ♥️🥹 10,11,12- historical I HATE HISTORICAL DRAMAS. Sooo not my thing, coz it actually took up most of the time. 13- first 30 mins were kinda cute then it was history again. Ending was cute 🥰. CANT WAIT FOR THIS TO FINALLY END. I HOPE IT ENDS WELL. Given that the budget for this drama was soooo low, they honestly didn’t do that bad. WAS it perfect- NO. Will I miss Jin Seo Won - yaa 🥰.
One thing I really wished they did, was more scenes with Yul , Jiah and his friend. Like that wud have been fun. Its sad that they waited till episode 12 to show them as a trio.
I love this show , but episode 10 was not my cup of tea. I hate the historical genre, I find it superbly boring and just don’t care. Soo after waiting a week I just got a bunch of boring shit. And the ending was sad. I think I’m gonna wait until it ends, then binge 4 episodes together, Jan 10th isn’t that far.
You must be blind.
