Unconditional love in historical times
Rewatch Extremely Perilous Love multiple times to truly understand the story, the characters, and the plot. I was deeply moved by the chemistry between ML and FL. It’s a heartfelt, old-fashioned unconditional love story that feels rare nowadays, often only found in historical dramas. I am truly impressed and grateful for this particular drama, as the actors conveyed their roles beautifully through their storytelling, expressions, and conversation. I cherished this drama because it touched on themes of politics, war, and power struggles, yet it avoided excessive violence. Despite the betrayal by the evil brother and the challenges faced by General Xu, I was able to follow and empathize with the storyline. I especially admired Wang Zu Yi’s portrayal of a witty general and Daisy Li’s gentle, compassionate doctor. Their chemistry was immediate and genuine. This is the first short C-drama that has touched my heart deeply and left a lasting impression. Was this review helpful to you?
