sitting on his lap? why are you making up things that never happened? did anyone force you to watch it? if you…
I'm curious and have a question:
Why do you feel incredibly uncomfortable when actors with an age gap like Hou Ming Hao and Ai Mi star together in a series, even though you enjoy watching romantic series where the characters have exactly the same age gap?
It’s really a shame that you didn’t understand my actual point of view. But that’s okay. My comments are simply meant to give anyone who’s interested something to think about. I don’t expect anyone to agree with me. :-)
ML and FML are the same age, but the characters in the drama are the same age as Hou Ming Hao and Ai Mi. The drama makes this clear through the characters’ hairstyles, makeup, and typical personality traits. The characters' backstories also point to this in many ways.
Additionally, the young woman’s age (19) is mentioned in the second half of the drama. In the first half of the drama, she was 18 years old. Since this is a historical c-drama, one can subtract a year here due to the “luna age” (i.e., 17/18). At the end of the drama, she is 22/23 years old (5 years later) and has two children. In the alternate ending scenes (childhood scenes), the age difference of at least 10 years between the two characters is clearly shown.
This drama is a prime example of just how pointless the discussions in the comments here really are. After all, almost all the users here have watched the drama and given it an average rating of 9 stars. Yes - It's a great drama that, like “Key to the Phoenix Heart,” has a fantastic cast and an outstanding production team. Anyone who pays attention to the details will surely know which drama I'm talking about. :-)
There is a historical C-Drama that tells the love story between a young woman (18/19 lunar age; 17/18 actual age) and a man who is ten years older than her. What’s interesting is that almost all users who questioned the age difference between Hou Ming Hao (28/29 years old) and Ai Mi (17/18 years old) in the comments here have watched this Drama and rated it 8 to 10 stars. 😀😀😀
What message do you think you’re sending to a daughter like Ai Mi with your ambivalent stance on this issue?
