I watch kdramas and cdramas with the precision of a wine critic and the patience of a wild fox. Since my work is intensely intellectual, I crave dopamine that still feels productive, which is why learning languages through series suits me perfectly.

⸻ MY STORY ⸻

I started watching dramas a year ago and somehow become obsessed. I often skip writing reviews because life, work and studying like to steal my free time, but when a drama truly hits, disappoints or completely destroys my emotional stability... I share my thoughts in the comments section.

You’ll probably find me watching romances, intense revenge plots, chaotic palace politics, handsome male leads and anything with chemistry strong enough to make me pause the episode just to process it. I’m not always super active but I do enjoy reading comments and sharing drama opinions when my brain has enough energy left.

Basically, I came for the language practice, stayed for the slow burns, plot twists, pretty costumes and emotional roller coaster.

⸻ KDRAMAS THAT STOLE MY HEART ⸻

Alchemy of Souls was my first kdrama. It captured my heart so deeply that I still rewatch it regularly. Some stories simply stay with you forever.

My Dearest felt like an icebreaker for me after so many months of watching kdramas. It brought back that deep emotional pull I was missing. The kind of drama that makes you pause, feel everything, and remember why you fell in love with historical romances in the first place. The story, the longing, the heartbreak and the chemistry between the leads made it feel unforgettable.

My Demon gaves me exactly the kind of fantasy romance I love. The drama has that perfect mix of romance, comedy, mystery and emotional moments but it also looks absolutely stunning. The outfits, cinematography, soundtrack and overall elegant-dark fairytale vibe made it even more enjoyable.

8 to 8.5	★★★★★★★★	Strong Bite, Lasting Impression	A very solid drama that gave me enough emotion, tension, beauty or chaos to stay invested. It may not have fully stolen my soul but it definitely left paw prints on my memory.
7 to 7.5	★★★★★★★	Enjoyable but Not Life-Changing	A good watch with nice moments, interesting characters or comforting vibes. I liked it, I respect it but I’m not about to build a shrine for it.
6 to 6.5	★★★★★★	Pretty Potential, Messy Execution	The idea was there. The cast may have been there. The vibes were trying their best. But somewhere along the way, the drama started running in circles.
5 to 5.5	★★★★★	I Stayed for Reasons Unknown	Not awful but not memorable either. Maybe I stayed for the actor, the costumes, the chemistry crumbs or because my curiosity has no survival instinct.
4 to 4.5	★★★★	My Patience Was in Danger	This drama started testing me personally. The writing, pacing, characters or emotional logic refused to cooperate. Joy had left the room several episodes ago.
2 to 3.5	★★	Dramaland Survival Mode	At this point, I was no longer watching. I was enduring. Confusing plot choices, weak emotions, boring scenes and characters making decisions that made my soul leave my body.
1 to 1.5	★	Do Not Wake the Fox	A full dramatic betrayal of my time, patience and remaining brain cells. Not just bad - personally offensive to my watchlist.
