A good family drama, Slow Pacing, Rather Relatable scenarios, In it for the Romance

The pacing of the drama is good but at the same time slow. The problems that go round and round which is quite realistic in real life. if you expect the family to solve their issues and move on. Well.... it will probably not happen. I may be here for Sun Qian and her romance with Jing Ke is pretty cute. A good she fell first, he fell harder trope. A family drama with good problems which you may find frustrating but ultimately you will enjoy especially when the matter settles.

But I will be honest with you, even tho it is definitely a good ending, the addition of the new character was a little out of nowhere and unnecessary but it is still worth watching. Their family bond is also what I am here for, even though they are different and with everyone busy with their lives, the way they care for each other is worth watching.

Ming Wei's and YiJin's characters dynamics aka Si Chun and Xu Fan are what I relate to a certain extent of cuz with less breaking of ties and slapping situations. I definitely hated this character dynamics the most, after watching the drama understand why, which is cuz it relates to me, and totally understand from Yijin's point of view a lot even tho, I still find her disrespectful. But ultimately, the healing process on their bond is pretty nice and would say the best point of their drama. The mother's point of view is pretty understandable why she acted the way she did but at the same time, she is too extreme.

Ultimately, it is worth watching them heal after the countless of hatred I have for this dynamics. It is not that the mother is a bad person but she cares too much for her daughter on a microscopic level.

The Yijin's and the guy's romance, honestly at the start until they finally make up was a little boring because of the first ep. Like... you only know they have been there for a long time and the family is just... The guy just kept appearing and I was like... what is the point of his character. However, as they managed to progress in their story, that was the turning point. Their romance did it for me, they are pretty cute and their development is worth watching.

The Family dynamics between Wan Qian and ShuNa aka Liang Jing and SunQian character are the best but I still hated the fact she hid that thing from her. I think I love them the most cuz that's what I yearn for. I would say even if you hated the mother-daughter relationship between Ming Wei and Yijin, WQ and SN's dynamics are worth watching for.

As for the Aunt and Husband. I don't remember their name well as it doesn't stick to me a lot, not that is bad but at the same time, it is good but pretty forgettable. I would say the aunt is the MVP in her family and very logical as well. The reason for their marriage is pretty reasonable and she is just a mother who would be trying. Ultimately, I am glad for their ending and she is a good person. Worth watching for them too.

THERE IS ONE THING U NEED TO EXPECT FROM THIS DRAMA, YOU WILL HATE THE MING WEI AND WAN QIAN HUSBANDS! USELESS PIECE OF CRAP! hahaha, but the Ming Wei one is the worst father and husband u will ever see but.. you will ultimately understand why he became like that. But it doesn't justify his actions as well.

Now, the one I know well the most since I have been here for them from the start which is SunQian character, quite a good girl with a wild attitude but is cute and the MVP of the drama for me. There are some points where she is insensitive and talks flat facts, that is the only down point of her. But understanding that she does what she wants but has fixed moral values, I would find myself relating to her as well in personality. She is there for you, and her romance with Jing Ke is the best from the start until the end. Even tho I am sad about their break up it is understandable and you will see her development in the way she approaches him at the end. The break up caused by the guy is understandable considering the pressure placed on him and the short communication phase with them. I am glad they talked it out and developed their romance perfectly.

Ultimately, this drama definitely isn't for everyone and you will need patience to watch it because the issues doesnt take 1 ep to solve by itself. However, it is definitely a drama worth watching for their development, their bond and ultimately how it plays out.

Good to watch at the start, be warned that ML will get annoying and romance had not much spark

It started out great and I really love how the story was progressing. Honestly, I love this drama because the cast was great and despite the many ups and downs, you will slowly relate to the characters and come to love every single one of them (excluding the monk and the ML). Despite me saying that the monk, you may not like him but he is still not so bad as ML. I have no idea about the ML's actor, so this is an unbias opinion from me. Acting wise can say that he is good so I don't think it is the actor's fault, the problem lies with his character. His character is so blended and I get that there were many factors that may influence him to make those choices but if he had trusted FL more, this will help with the romance.

You can literally see the FL's love for the ML but time and time again, there was so many time where even though they have overcome a lot of problems and destiny, yet he still doesn't trust FL until he loses her which is quite sad for the romance. This does not only apply to only that particular scene but countless moments. Honestly, I felt more hurt for FL and thinks that ML doesn't deserve her. So overall, the Romance started off well but because the ML's character problems aren't as well developed.

Story-wise, I felt that overall, it is a good drama to watch because it really shows how humans are and how a demon can be the same as humans and vice visa. The villains... the centipede story arc was super good but like I say the beginning is great. The villain after... makes me feel like it is all over the place and quite annoying to see the villain lady die because even though I hated her but she had many losses, I was hoping she had some character development before she died. So overall the t could have been better executed. The monk, I got to see the character development but like the ML, something is wrong but despite me saying that... he is better and more bearable. The ending is a bit weird because some things don't add up and it felt too scripted and felt that the writers did the white snake dirty.

Overall. I recommend you to watch it! The story is great, with many problems but it is fun to watch the white snake and green snake relationship and their journey.

Complicated Middle Plot, Fresh SML+FL Romance, Didn't Like the ML

The story itself is quite interesting and the starting is really quite a hook... I enter the drama without expectations and ended up watching it! The initial direction that they are heading from the start is quite refreshing, but it went downhill as the story became too complicated. As the first part having the FL and SML romance was actually quite refreshing as it well establish and you can see why FL fell for SML, but everything went downhill from the wedding since the writers wanted drama. Meanwhile in the second part as the romance is suppose to be develop between ML and FL, it was not only too fast, but I see no spark, I felt like they fell in love for the story.

Honestly, I watched ML's acting in The Legend of the White Snake. I felt that his acting didn't improve, or that maybe he didn't suit the character and low key has a punchable face. His "in love but have to not show it face" isn't so convincing as well. Even though I pass that and continued to watch, the ML character itself is quite revenge oriented and doesn't evaluate well in my opinion. Like a normal person, I get it that you are blinded by revenge but he suppose to be the smart guy in this. His actions are quite questionable.

An excellent story with perfect crime scene value

I rewatch this many times and it still doesn't feel boring because the crime scenes were unique with purpose and really dive into how criminal acts. The whole criminal group was perfect as it feels like the writer did not put it there just for the story but it feels like the criminal group has its purpose and is placed into the whole universe itself. I still have a little soft spot for A and T and quite sad that they had to..... "Spoiler" (once you watch it, you will know his fate).

Even though I love the romance and I can see their chemistry despite the sudden romance plot in the present moment like since they have memory loss and Han Shen went back only to find out that Jin Xi is a completely different person, there is also no records on the sister. What happens if the person who died is Su Mian. The romance is based on that kiss and one main sentence. a little unrealistic but passable, I was hoping that they just fall in love despite having no finance thing. It feels more genuine. Other than that there is no denying that the romantic chemistry is super good because even with the memory loss when they were working together, you get to see them still falling in love with each other. also, lowkey sad for S. The love triangle is sad from his end since it is a 1 sided love.

Even though you are not watching it for the romance, the crime situation that the team have to investigate is really well executed by the production and is well explained. That is the best part of it. i shall not further explain else it will be a spoiler. But you will not regret watching it. The friendship between the members is also quite good as well. You can see their teamwork and the way they complement each other skills and every character is there for a purpose!

You may feel confused at first but not to worry as the backstory of what happened 5 years ago will be explained in season 3 in the last few episodes.

Interesting Plot with Disappointment Story Progression

I watch this because of Zhang Yi Jie and honestly, I find the acting for this is good, the character may be so-so but the actor and actress brought it to life.

I watch the first 2 episodes, I found the comedy and everything else decent. I just found the romance a bit weird because it is the classic FL fell in love at first sight with ML and there is no real progression in the romance part in my opinion. then I continued to watch, I was excited because FL looks strong and I thought that the plot of the power will be handled well. but I thought wrong. There were so many plot holes and the ML keep getting beat a lot and not trying his best to escape, which I found not satisfying.
