Does zhao yi actually confess to xu huai shi at the end?
Its like shown. From a few scenes where she kinda helps him with academics and stuff and he does start studying seriously. Shown in the wedding scene when both moms talk about who is going where (Xu Huaishi's mom gets the upper hand, typical 😅) she gets into a top University and he gets a place in the one next door to hers (lower in ranking). I'm non chinese but I guess getting into relationships and stuff is not supported or encouraged by most schools and parents in China. Mostly coz there's serious exams in high school to get into top universities and competition fierce. It's okay up to the point I Like You. So a confession can't be shown at that age in the drama?? Correct me if I'm wrong.
Re XHS mom, she was too consumed by the hatred and negativity shown towards their family and just wanted to protect…
In their first case meeting, I remember Ruan Yu asking if it would be appropriate if she stayed in their meetings. Miss Zhang who is the lead for the case asks her to stay as she is a mutual acquaintance of Zhou zjun and Yao Xin and could provide some clues about their relationship. But she took it too literally 😂

Epi 24 was a winner! It’s getting better and better from 19 onwards (15_19 was a slump period for romance but the bits of comedy and the stunning visuals kept us going) Seated for what seems to be an important part of the plot going on right now .
Yeah. It's a farewell book for school leavers. Students give farewell pages for their classmates to write something like wishes for their future or some fun stuff. More like a parting note for others to keep in their memory.
One of the drafts on his phone said that she hadn’t given out a page for him. Nevertheless he wrote one and passed it on. Then she quickly goes and checks the box wherein she had kept them all and finds his page (as it was different to the others) . It had this message "May you live a splendid and colourful tomorrow filled with joy, even if I'm not a part of it"
It is shown in ep 23 as a flashback that RY passed some of these sheets to a girl from next class. She removed the page for XHS in the last minute ( probably because she thought he wouldn't know her anyway so what's the point). The one she handed was like loose colored leaf sheets. His writing was on a plain sheet of paper.
It’s my guess here that she probably didn't read them all , it was like a big book with lots of pages in it and ofcourse as she thought she wouldn't have the one from whom she hoped to anyway she didn't actively look into it.
Episode 23 was so beautiful ❤️ That year book page concept was a winner for me And the way he thought he could make her remember by holding her hand just that one time 😭😭 He was already there waiting by the door.... Maybe he did have a ray of hope that destiny would bring them together again. He didn’t give up!
Is it that difficult to understand that this story is being told from the perspective of the leads? It may align with the perspective of some viewers and maynot with some others. For those whom it doesn't, why don't they keep scrolling until they find a drama that suits their tastes. Why keep coming back to the comment section and complain about how the story should have been etc. Are they not sure of their judgement or is there a hidden agenda?
