Overnight the rating has dropped from 7.9 to 7.8. A sudden influx of 1- star rating will immediately influence the math behind the average score. A group of people have reviewed/rated the drama giving it the lowest possible score of 1/10 overnight for this to happen!
Scenario 1: Dropping the absolute average from 7.9 to exactly 7.80 If MDL displays strict mathematical averages without standard decimal rounding, new reviewers would need to pull the score all the way down to 7.80 43 people are needed if they all rate it a 1/10
Scenario 2: Dropping the average enough to round down (7.84) If MDL rounds to the nearest single decimal. To make the visible score change from 7.9 to 7.8, the actual average only needs to dip just below 7.85 (to 7.84) 26 people are needed if they all rate it a 1/10.
Scenario 3: Unlikely! If new viewers rate it a 7/10: • To drop to exactly 7.8/10: It will take 360 people!
Less new people would be needed to rate it 6,5,4 and so on to drop it to 7.8

3. If N people give the lowest possible score of 1, the formula to drop the visible score to a rounded 7.8 is: 22,752 + 1N ÷2,880 + N= 7.8
PS: The number of people who have rated the drama from last night to this morning has increased only by tens not by hundreds which indicates that this is a deliberate attempt by some people to rate the drama down with collective 1 star rating.
