I really don't understand why Boat and Kong have so little screen time, I counted and from ep 1 to ep 9 they have only 20 minutes of screen time?!?!?! This Is so weird I've read the novel and a lot of their moments got cut. Also the things that happened in this last episode it happened way before in the book. I really don't get it, it's not like the episodes are 20 minutes like in Japanese bl and you don't have time to develop the side couple, no, every episode is 45 mins you have the time. I am really confused also cause they are really cute and Sing and Chimon have really good chemistry so I am a little disappointed, cause in other bl like Head 2 Head the side couple had way more screen time.

I really think is because of some kind censorship in Japan and the fact that this drama airs on tv and this country is much more homophobic than Thailand. Also they have sex in manga. From what I know the staff had a really hard time cause of the production that continued to cut stuff from the source materiale and they were really strict abt it or something like this.

Honestly I get your point, I think is just that this show airs on tv and Japan is not so open abt queer themes. Like I said before.

I love this show so much! I can really see how much effort they put into it even if they had a low budget and I love all the details!
For example the opening that changes in every episode and give us a little preview of how the relationship between them will develop!

No I mean that this drama air on tv, and in Japan they are not open as in Thailand to have queer themes in TV shows, so they limited the kisses scenes and there are no sex scenes for that.

For anyone wondering, yeah Shiono's first love was Takoi, the police officer that Date mentioned was him, in a special chapter of the manga we learn that Takoi and Shiono met before working together and Shiono crushed on him, so he liked Takoi for a really long time

I will be honest, I don't think they will do it, the sex scene, but I don't think is gonna ruin the show if they don't do it. The other stuff I think they could do some more in the last 3 episodes.
