The ones criticizing Ayden are trying to get on my nerves because have they’ve seen him?! and not just because…
No really though, I read a few things about Ayden and yes he put so much care into the role and the show. It's also a very difficult thing to bring to life, to do it the right way. Also I read that it's definitely lighter than the actual novel. Still good. What they don't get is that no one is justifying such acts or finding them romantic , it's about the storytelling and different dynamics. Situations and the nature of a character. Or just enjoying the show. Bruh. " Too old " wtf really at first I thought maybe because I'm 32 myself I'm taking it at heart but damn some comments are just ???
I said this before but PLEASE if this is not for you and you know it well , just don't force yourself to keep watching and then make it everyone else's problem. There's no such thing as being morally superior. Also jfc .. I don't know how a 32 yo should look in your head.. ayden is just fine, really 😭😭 and fa xuan ge is 27.. everyone looks the right age , ( you know... People have different lineaments and physiques) for the present and the most recent flashbacks.. they were still 20 something on halo ep 2 ?? Whatever
The amount of negativity in this comment section is crazy. Calling the actors uncle?? Are we serious? Also for…
It pisses me off that those people know perfectly these kind of stories aren't their cup of tea but force themselves to keep watching and act morally superior.. they think we can't tell that's or this is toxic and can't tell reality a part from fiction... They should stick to their fluffy romances without trying to drag people who can enjoy different kinds of stories 😭
the reason is he thinks the elder bro is younger one.
Oh that's one of the main points, sure. I mean the younger brother explicitly asked him to try and date/like Yichen( little bro has also some big internalised homophobia), he probably accepted thinking he could work it out and actually get over it- sure but of course it's clear it's just for narrative purposes, an arrangement - he'd continue staying anyway in contact with the younger brother, even a little more and things between them would develop, but the elephant in the room is clear- especially on the scene of Yichen's birthday and the almond cakes , who actually likes almonds is the brother. ( For example) Deep down Yichen already knows probably but he doesn't care. He's still mourning , he can only see Lu Feng. So yeah it's sad for both sides. Now I read somewhere in the novel is a different thing - but I haven't still read it so this is basically my interpretation of what's going on it the drama. It was executed very beautifully imo. ( Sorry for writing too much )
i'm on episode 3 and those flashbacks with Qin Lang when his and Yichen's "relationship" started made me a little sad but the scenes were so beautifully done , they gave me many feelings .. I'm really liking Qin Lang , he's even too patient jfc I feel sorry for him atm ..
" Yanzhi only regards me as a brother" was so unexpected i'm in tears.. oh god i'm also feeling stressed babes why are you so stubborn stopfif4ì communicate!! aks oh god i really hope they've got a happy ending
This has been a reoccurring theme whenever a Chinese BL starts airing and then Chinese "fans" start stalking…
It's actually damn sad, it truly made my blood boil seeing how apparently people think that because why someone is famous they're entitled to invading their personal space and disrespect them like that . Insane.
lu feng's father telling him "you 're involved with a man, do you realize you're wrong?" like they're having a friendly debate and he's not beating up his son had me wtf as if i've never seen similiar scenes before... i hope he chokes and suffers, Anyway.... it's so good so far.. i'm really engrossed with it and the acting is great
Damn after seeing that video from the live I wish more people would watch this drama. It's sad to see people not giving it even a little grace and mostly because they keep comparing it to other dramas. Historical cbls are very few too, it's insane. I mean sure - sometimes I'd be like " oh this reminds me of X " but knowing it's a different thing. It would be boring if it was the same. As I said before , some tropes are just common. The lack of promotion is a thing too. Sure you can tell that's his first big role but to me it's good enough and the chemistry is pretty much there. It's very good. They're a good pair. There's a lot of time to improve.
can't stop thinking about yin qi saying "if you fail what's the point of me living alone in this world?", then proceeding to lock yanzhi inside and how i almost got up to run into a wall
Keep thinking about how people say the acting could be better, sure- I mean to me seems alright but I also think this might be their first important project because before this drama their names didn't even exist on this site.. but to me is so fine, they're doing so good ! - some things obviously intentional ... the chemistry anyway is chemistrying (?) , their shyness, hesitation because of reasons , their frustrations lots of things... Those little moments that gave me butterflies .. ( evil gay crown prince is so evil tho , If I had a penny for every time this happened to me I'd have two pennies which isn't much but it's curious it happened twice ) . It's developing greatly .. if it doesn't have a good ending I'll be wrecked
