I loved the slow burn at first but 21 episodes in I'm starting to hate it. Everything I know about the secrets in this drama are either assumed or just theories from comments and my head. I need hints, I need twists....21 episodes in and I don't know What this Fake Gao Jun actually does!! There's a bunch of stuff that I wish I knew by now. I don't want to drop this but I might skip some episodes cause it's just dragging on for too long

I had forgotten about this, but I was thinking about the episode where Jang UK killed the soul shifter and he had the blue mask and there was such a buzz with everyone buying the blue fabric and all that! Why didn't the writers and directors exhaust that?? After that part I really expected to see more of that but it completely faded! I don't even remember if people found out that it was Jang UK! I would have loved to see them continue with the Mysterious Mage with a blue mask

Spot on! This is exactly how I feel about historical dramas but out of nowhere i wanted to watch this....I want more of it

😂😂 I couldn't even finish the first episode cause I have to pause every other minute just to take in some of the scenes...but I remember it's a mini drama and most of them are like this or maybe worse

The chemistry in season 2 was better...I don't care what anyone says...And the actress in season 2 nailed the character of Naksu as both an assassin and a priestess

I agree with you...I watched AOS as a part 1 and 2 and season 2 to me felt like tying up loose ends and Giving the couples the ending they deserved...and Jang UK fell in love with Naksu and not Jin Bu Yeon so it would only make sense if she returns with her actual face.
Also the long awaited death of Jin Mu was so satisfying to watch. He was the worst.
The romance was also a big part of this second part and I loved every minute of it.
