I'm also confused like someone else wrote, it feels like we all watched different dramas. This was an excellent zombie mini series, and very well written for being... zombie chaos. It does exactly what it wants to do, its not aiming for any oscars. Frustrating teenagers and bullies are also a classic trope in zombie movies/series btw.
It might not please all the screenwriter "experts" on MDL but western people will go nuts over it. It has some of the most intense zombie scenes EVER that will go viral. Just a matter of time before its number 1 on Netflix USA, can it beat Squid Game?
Its already becoming a phenonomen on youtube with famous youtubers reviewing it and loving it. This is gonna be the next "Squid Game". This is the type of drama that the whole world will go nuts over. All in all, its probably the most intense zombie thing EVER made.
Pretty sure I cried about 50 separate times watching this. All around beautiful.
I dont understand how you can cry that much to this. I often cry to kdramas easily, and I don't think I cried even one time to this drama. It felt forced.
The show is entertaining so far, albeit too long and filled with awful characters, but the acting is legitimately…
The acting was just fine imo. They are extremely strict in korea with the cast choice, especially if its a high budget series like this one. Nothing that bothered me at all.
I keep reading these news that Park Seo Joon is "confirmed" for all kind of projects, but I don't see anything with him actually coming out. Isn't he in america now probably studying english? LOL
This does definitely not deserve 8.7. Too much talking/unnecessary scenes and for being a "murder mystery" plot, the twists aren't good enough. Not even "the big" reveal of the murderer was exciting... just like "oh it was him after all? Meh..."
Maybe if it was cut down to 8 eps it would have left a better impression.

Congratulations to the team!
