I wouldn't say it deserves a higher rating. As someone else mentioned it really drags on. Maybe one of the slowest dramas I've ever watched, truly snail-pace. Many full episodes just feel like a bunch of repeated scenes and situations. Also, almost all characters are unlikeable/horrible/annoying and you can't relate to anyone. The plot itself is standard makjang stuff. Even the last episode is boring AF.
There are so many other good dramas out there so you can easily skip this one.
Why couldn't they write it a bit better? Why couldn't they explain a bit more? Why couldn't they make a more satisfying ending? I am sure this cost super much to make and the cast is amazing... just why?
Hmm? We had some great shows this year. My name, Squid game, Hellbound, DP etc. To people saying they're trying…
My name was decent but generic, everything after Squid Game has been meh imo and ends on cliffhangers when they are never getting second seasons. That DP gets one is pretty cool tho, thats true.
I wish you would write your age. I was in Korea in 2003 and watched Kim Ki-duk's Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring in the theatres. I have been watching korean movies for soon 30 years now, recently even gotten my hands on some black and white stuff, Ive been there from the start. So you dont need to teach me about korean movies.
Whatever anyone says it should sit at 8.5 at least. Not saying its a 9.0 but its a goddamn 8.5. Well written script, amazing actors, top not cinematograhpy and great effects.

Time to step up their game.
