Oh man that would have been an arc or part of the plot I'd like to know more about or see. But glad he's gone.

Maybe in later episodes..I'd also like to see this. Although she did say to SMY that he could decide for her if it comes down to it in Ep 2 before she battled TLY the second time while they were in the carriage.

He's grown into the character; that's a fantastic way to put it. And that's partially due to SMY transitioning from one arc/plot/role within Dark River both in & out of DR to the next. And if you're up to Ep 19 he is seeking a new title altogether beyond Head of Su Family...

Have you seen the scenes they ended up cutting out? It's on Youku. I stumbled upon them last night on the app after Ep 19 aired it auto played it. I'm glad they cut them out; to me, if they would have kept it in they would have been boring and truly "fillers".

What episode are you on? Before 11, you don't see much of them (Except Ep 6 when they're in the cave) which is a good thing. Ep 11-12 & 18-19 you are cheering them on. She's a good addition to the show. She's not meant to be a distraction to the show and to distract us from SMY and SCH. Because it never was supposed to be a BL she's not here to distract you from that very thing. Because it never was a BL to start with. She complements SMY and SCH relationship, I think. It's a trio (sort of).

I went in blind. Haven't seen anything before BR but 3 episodes of the anime which I dropped. I am not lost & Ep 16 in & really enjoy it so far.

I haven't watched the earlier installments and up to Ep 18 I do not feel that I am missing out. I will admit that I need to reread the dialogues from 12 onward but i am still getting a lot out of it.

It's in the YOUKU app it's underneath the episodes. It's labeled under BTS.

Also. If ya want a hint/dash of crush-cutesy vibe you will get it & honestly it's really cute when these scenes do happen. They place it at the right times, I feel like they've balanced it well. It keeps you focus on the brotherhood but then you get a sudden happy, heart-warming feeling when the couples are on the screen. 🥰 You'll find yourself cheering each pairing on but just don't expect overwhelmingly enemies to lovers, friendship to lovers, whatever else is out there arcs. You'll leave disappointed but you've been formally warned! Now GO little one and enjoy. 😉

Ep 1? You haven't seen nothing yet. ☺️ Your eyes will thank you, keep going! 👀 If you're going to watch a wuxia you started/picked a good one. The bromance gets stronger as you go; you'll grow with SMY & SCH in the present and in the form of flashbacks. You'll see their first flashback in Ep 2. The romance is a subplot and very subtle yet will keep you cheering on each pairing. Currently on Ep 19 and it's a stunner. There will be plot-building after Ep 11 so enjoy the first 11-12 episodes. And then BAM, Ep 16. Wow. Set your playback speed to 0.50-0.65x to relive your favorite fighting scenes. ☺️ Let us know!

Today 10/28 after the second ep airs (Ep 19) YOUKU released a lot of scenes that weren't in the show listed under BTS. I assumed these scenes were the ones that were cut. There was one with MYM. There were at least 4-5 scenes at least up to this point that were cut.
