My finger automatically hit the replay button and I sat there for another 45min to watch the whole drama again picking up on things I missed the first time round. I paused at that GLORIOUS opening frame where Xixi appears as DG v2 behind those black curtains on his chariot and just DROOLED at his gorgeousness. 🤤🤤 How can a man be this beautiful? This was before I set eyes on the even more GLORIOUS version of ADG and his golden eyes. That is another level of beautiful. 🤤🤤😍😍😍
I know Xixi is a great actor, but this totally blew my mind. Compelling story, beautiful costumes and good looking people! WOW, just how many good looking actors are there in this Episode 1! Even the dads are not bad looking! LOL It was here that Deng Wei first caught my eye, he looked good as Prince XL. But he was a tasty side dish in this drama to Xixi the main dish. (*Can't take my eyes off you* plays in the background. XIXI! 🫶🫶❤️❤️🫰🫰) Sorry to have to call Weiwei the side dish in this drama, but side dish or not I love you too Weiwei! ❤️💎😁🤗 LOL. Chun Tao the maid was absolutely adorable.
I also thought the makeup was badly done and distracting as it did not do justice to Xixi, Lulu and the rest of the actors for close ups.
