It would have much more comments if folks were more united and not fight among the various CP supporters. Yes, TSJ is the very dutiful son/grandson. He never wanted that position of power, but he took it on to fulfill his duties to his family. Indeed that is a sad life for TSJ. I felt his mother and grandmother were very controlling over him also. Poor foxy.
And now that you mentioned it, yeah, Hou never got the recognition he craved even at the very end. He threw away the love and respect of a devoted brother, all for nothing.
The actors really brought these characters to life which is why everyone feels so strongly about them. Good job to all the actors and the casting director for putting all the right actors into these roles. ❤️🫰

Yes, XL is like a spartan to me. LOL He wants to die a glorious death on the battlefield. If he married XY, she would become a widow in no time. *Sighs*
And CX is like a CEO with no time for his family and FL is the kind of dude who will put his bros first. So I would not really consider these 2 as good suitors for XY. So that leave Jing, the devoted fox. Vanilla to some, but so suitable for XY. 🦊

Yes, Tong Hua hit all the right spots. The only thing I have a grumble about is how she ended Hou. It was not satisfying for me at all that such a pile of crap ends like that. 🤨😡

I see that the folks here having "passionate discussions" about the CPs not working out the way they want it. But I love it that Tong Hua does not write this as a fairy tale with the perfect ending that no one will dispute upon, like the kid stories we used to read where there is the perfect ending and happily ever after. We all rooted for Cinderella marrying her prince right? No one will dispute that is the perfect ending.
What Tong Hua depicts in her story are very real problems in the real world. Who we want to be with may not be feasible for many reasons and we end up with someone else despite having a part of our heart with that not feasible person. Or who we want to be with may not be healthy for us etc. So yeah, thank you Tong Hua for a story that stirs all our hearts. I rooted for both Jing and XL. Of the 4 suitors, I think they loved XY the most. Just that Jing happened to tick off all of XY's checklist for the perfect partner for herself. And XL being very intelligent and self aware (9 heads thinking power is like a super computer right?) knows that he does not check off many items on XY's partner checklist and works behind the scenes to ensure XY ends up with Jing who meets all of her partner criteria. *sighs* Tong Hua, I wanna make a tissue paper claim to you. You made me cry too much! Used up so much tissue. LOL 😂🤣

But I only started commenting a bit later in the drama and not at the beginning of the drama. I have not looked back since. The Moonies are a great bunch, open to discussion, fun and welcoming. I am proud that our 100k plus comments did not come from arguments but rather fun and crazy comments and discussions. 😁

Yup not working for me either. The lame reason is that it's because Hou is the unloved "illegal" son? And that got to him? I mean come on. Jing looked up to Hou and spoke up for him also. How can Hou treat Jing like that when it was Jing's mum who showed Hou no love.
And from Jing's mum's POV, Hou was the product of her husband's affair with a maid. I guess every time she looked upon Hou, it reminded her of her husband's infidelity. She showed no love towards Hou but she did not ill treat him either.
So Hou had no reason to do what he did to Jing. I hate him as much as Joffrey Baratheon from GOTs. Dang!!! LOL
He is adorable. He had good chemistry with Xixi. Can't believe he had to play Xixi's love rival in the Immortal…
This Moonie also approves of LYF. No fast forwarding needed. No drama passed the no fast forwarding test after TTEOTM. This is the first c-drama after so many months that I simply let the drama flow. 😃
DW's makeup and wardrobe suited him better in LYF, less fussy hair ornaments etc. He looks good in LYF. Some folks criticise his character harshly in the drama, but I think he played the part very well.

YY was punished in the end. I am some what satisfied with the punishment she got, it could be a harsher one, but I'll take it.
But Hou, gosh, that beast tortured Jing for 3 years then left him for dead and cut off 7 of Jing's tails later on. It will take more than a slap to satisfy me for this monster. I need to see him get the same torture he gave Jing for 100 years and have all of his tails cut off. 😈 But guess they have to remain true to Tong Hua's book. So it will be death by arrow for that crap pile. *sighs*
