Yes, the challenge of Cdrama is that they have to flow with the current regulations. What was ok a few months back is not ok today. They have to be about to edit the story to fit the current regulations. Also challenging for them.

When applying plastic surgery, I think one has to be realistic as everyone's face shape is different. There is only so much you can change. After that it starts to look bad. Ok to enhance natural beauty but to do a full make over of plastic surgery, that will not look nice and is dangerous for the person's health. 🏥💉🩻 But I guess those actors / actresses need it for their profession?

Same here. I occasionally watch some Kdrama, but still prefer Cdrama.

Yes, that is one thing I don't really like about kdrama, the slapping and beating and yelling at each other. So violent. 😨LOL And agreed that the Korean ones are very hierarchical. But I think it is their cultural norm. So they are just portraying what is.

Same here, prefer CDrama. I do occasionally watch some Kdrama, but it does not grip me like Cdrama.

I guess Kdrama seems of higher quality is the way they tell the story and usually the open ending or conclusion is more complete. This is something Cdrama needs to improve on. It is perhaps the Cdrama production teams have to cope with changing regulations that results in bad editing? But the conclusion of the dramas is generally not a strong point for Cdrama. Either very rushed or makes no sense. But at the end of the day, I still find Cdrama actors and actresses more diverse looking and the costumes more beautiful. And with Xixi leading the pack as KING of costume dramas, I am biased. LOL

That director believes in tough love I guess.
