Yeah, our Weiwei after going through such a tough time has indeed matured a lot and is more aware, so his overall demeaner definitely reflects this which is fine and a part of an actor's evolution. He cannot always be having that childlike demeaner from years back when he first started out.
The bullying during LYF was super nasty and ridiculous and over things that should not matter. If the antis did not like the character Jing, which is fine, just fast forward his scenes, why attack Weiwei who was just doing his job? Everyone is different, there is no way everyone is going to like the same things, and different preferences are what give diversity and make the world a more interesting place. What did Weiwei do to them? Do they know him personally? Did not touch enough grass? π€¨ And the actor those antis ship, I was thinking, did he not see the bullying on a junior (as in Weiwei was quite new at that point in time)?
