The screenwriter didn’t put much effort into this. That plot twist is ridiculous. At least SML won’t be a romantic rival for ML anymore. I also fear that the mysterious man with the scar on his hand, responsible for the fire, will probably turn out to be ML’s father or some other relative. Still, many absurdities can be overlooked for the steamy moments between the main leads. The fiery romance is definitely the strongest aspect here.

I maintain my theory that it was ML who saved FL. In my opinion, the family ring indicates this. Do Da Hae didn’t steal it, but has had it for a long time.
