I didn't say she was right but it's not new that teenager or young people tend to follow their dreams and heart over family because you have a view of life that is idealistic, only to regret it later. To me it's not surprising. It's part of learning life.

They die but they meet again in the afterlife. They couldn't be happy in this first life so now they're free.

I feel the same as you and I love Chen Zhe Yuan. I've seen many of his dramas but here he's too soft for the character as you said. I think it's the filters they use on the main actors. They gave him baby skin and baby face and for a warrior it's not adapted. Je should have had scars as well. And also his character is too confident and cute.

It was beautiful and sad.

It's a pity that ML was clearly invincible. Many time he recovered for deadly injuries. And the worst was when he was strangled, stabbed and buried hours under kilos of soil. FL excavated him hours later with a little stick and bare hands. She managed we don't know how to bring him to the clinic. Then, days of traveling. Then, saved but blind. Then amnesia, then he was healthy and fighting again. Sorry but what the f... ? That's a pity for the rest of the drama.

I've just finished. A good drama overall even if I'm a bit conflicted because I found that some parts of the drama were epic and awesome while some parts were cheesy and pure nonsense. For exemple, from episodes 27 to 33, they almost lost me with this arc. And I can accept quite a lot of nonsense in cdramas because it's included in the package 😅 but this time it was too much. And the last episodes were fantastic, characters development, action, rhythm of the story. So, I would say that I didn't find the drama well balanced and it could have been a 10/10 but it didn't convinced me 100%.
I loved the part in Jinxiu, it was exciting.
The main couple had chemistry and a mature and loyal relationship, I liked that.
It's not my favourite ML because I thought he was too cocky but Chen Zhe Yuan did well.

These siblings relationship, including the other brother was really endearing.

The Emperor is not ruling the country. It's his mother that makes all the decisions. He's a puppet.

I found that his character has depth on the contrary and with something more. That's my point of view. And me saying that I found the actor's acting amazing doesn't mean the other actors are bad, obviously.

I cried like a baby 😭

The way I see it, she is a young woman who had been sheltered and protected all her life. She fell in love like young women or teenagers fall in love. Passionately and without logic (brain) and with all her heart. She's annoying and makes stupid decisions, we agree but I don't think it's surprising considering that she is a princess who had always had everything she wanted and who doesn't know what malice is. She thinks love is exciting and that it worths everything.
Just to say that I don't think she is really stupid or mean but she did stupid things in the name of love. I find her character very interesting.

I have almost finished the drama and I have to say that to me the Emperor of Jinxiu is the most fascinating character in this drama. The actor is amazing. I feel drawn to him. His acting, particularly in episode 37 is fantastic! I hope he'll have a main role soon.

Have you seen Blossoms in adversity? The FL is very interesting, strong and resilient as well.

Maybe to show his affection and to put a bit of colour on his lifeless face.

Episode 1 is not représentative of the scary level of the drama. In episode 1 they put a lot of scare jumps and nasty make up for the ghosts. But in the following episodes it won't ever be like this. So if you can watch episode 1, afterwards it will be easy.

There was enough budget to make the drama obviously but it's known to be a low budget drama. But they did very well with what they had.
