The guy could have told him to give a message or ask him to come. You don't reveal these though the phone.

When the Prince became "evil" I really didn't like it. It made no sense to go that far. Just for him to turn around later. And it all began because FL and ML didn't tell him their plan so he thought they disrespected him. Well, that arc ruined a part of the enjoyment.

Finished! Until around episode 25/26 I rated this drama 10/10. But after that, I think I didn't like some part of the story. The drama is still really good but , unfortunately, I wasn't as captivated as before. Some episodes were amazing and others not really.
The chemistry was fantastic, and the acting as well.
I thought their love was really showing and they were glowing.
ML was able to show many sides of his characters. FL was convincing as a general (well in drama land) because she had the right attitude. And the OST was superb.
Below what I didn't like.

I had my share of period Cdramas. It doesn't mean that I can't have critical thinking once in a while. You're right, there are many things in these dramas that we need to close our eyes on. But I wanted to share my point of view. And when he lifted the guy with the same arm that was still healing, it was too much for me. Same with 50 whip and bleeding a lot but 5 mins after nothing. That's all. And I began my comment by "I think" so it's indeed my own opinion.

I think it's a pity that the time to recover from injuries is not realistic at all. ML survived after his shoulder was pierced and 2 or 3 weeks later he lifts a guy from the ground with only this arm. Or after being whipped they don't talk about it afterwards.

Maybe it's indeed a voice actor who dubbed him?

Not true. I didn't even know the actress was older before someone commented it. And even if she looked older, why would you call her a auntie...

You were right to be shocked by the violence. I was too. It's just that it's expected between army men or women.

I have seen many dramas of him when he dubs himself (modern dramas) and he does sound very different here.

I'll put a spoiler below about what she does for revenge, you'll feel better. This kind of violence is hard to watch but it's more realistic. He doesn't see her as a woman but as a General and it's war.

The General in Shadow love was convincing in attitude. Not the other one.
In this drama, FL is also convincing, just more ferocious.

I also watch it there. I didn't feel that there was any problem but ML's voice sounds different than usual. Have you tried with or without dolby sound? I always prefer without it.
