If you see some BTS it's always a mess and super noisy.

A lot of people on the set. So lots of noise. Often there are multiple scenes filmed at the same time nearby. I think that's the main reason, it's less expensive like that. Also they need to use the standard accent because China is big and there are too many accent or dialect and actors come from everywhere in the country.
