I get what you're saying because in some drama I just understand the character even if toxic or morality grey. But here I just don't enjoy HY's character. right, Sheng is not a saint at all but in this particular situation, he is the victim. I just have a hard time with emotional and psychological abuse in the sense that I don't believe you can forgive the person unless you are gaslighted. But I'll keep watching.

Well, I used to read fanfiction more than 10 years ago so I'm not new to this universe and the crazy things that has been written 😅. It doesn't mean I don't have an opinion on things. I was just saying that to me it's really difficult to understand how they can become a couple after that because HY is very cruel to traumatise Sheng who is the most caring to him. And I really think HY's plan is twisted and it irks me.

Everybody has exes. Of course he kissed his ex before. And of course he was in love. But it's the past. And in the present, it's the ex who kissed cc forcefully. Have you watched the drama?

Wsw didn't put cc through traumas! Hua Yong made Sheng think he was gang raped, hurt and that it was his fault. it's not even comparable.

I don't want to read the novel. The drama should be enough to understand the characters. Even if he really loves him, he's cruel and too twisted for me. I know Sheng is gonna forgive him but I don't know why. We'll see in a few weeks I guess lol.

I think we've been a few commenting that he is too manipulative. I personally can't father how their relationship is gonna work because it's all false.

There's a difference between a quick scene and half of screentime.

I've seen 2 episodes and I like it. It really take off in the middle of episode 2. I've just started episode 3 and it's quite exciting so far.
By the way, Filter is indeed the best comedy 🥰

This drama is frustrating. One episode a week but nothing really happens. I just can't stand the manipulator. Poor Sheng... Completely fooled. The second couple is more interesting but have almost no screen time. And the make up... 🤡
