LOL, Im just fed up with the constant wining why she lies, why is he suffering etc. ugh same as in My Dearest and many other Kdramas I just mentioned both carachters bec is the same actress lol thankfully the hate is not as much as in My Dearest at the beginning first 10 eps was exhausting....

This is romcom so the angst is not as bad as in My Deareast a melo historical, they just released a clip for Ep 9 I knew his way of getting back was trolling her and he did, is his character....so I see this in a different angle that's why Im not too harsh on the FL choices like some are.....

I don't understand the wining in this kdrama thread, I enjoyed the drama very much, was the best not....but maybe this is a binge watch drama rather than episodic one, I think if I watch it week after week I would have lost interest I don't know but I watched Sat-Sund ep after episode and I enjoyed the watch....there are worst worst dramas out there, I'd suggest you watch it and you decide for yourself thankfully Im of the ones that I rather watch for myself. I dont know what were they expecting lol with the synopsis and the tags Thriller, Romance, Crime obviously not a dark sinister thriller drama.....

Well we might as well be watching two different dramas, I see Darim's struggles and by as far bigger than male lead, he fell first and harder was on him, I see from both points of view Im just comparing because it is the same actress, but it usually kdrama fans fangirl over the ML's struggles and forget about the FL's and that happened the same way in My Dearest, I watched the drama on air, week after week like this was tired of the pattern there and now here, I just put it as an example but it usually happens in most of the kdramas when fans of ML do this. I am enjoying it thoroughly the yearn, the heartbreak the comedic scene even the SML was in love with the FL etc. I knew it was coming if you don't read synopsis you don't know what they you will get yourself into.

I don't agree with you. We clearly see Ji Hyeok’s perspective, she doesn’t even know he likes her. She’s juggling debt, and her first stable job in years. I’m sorry but people who can feel sad for Ji Hyeok’s pain yet make no effort to understand why Darim had to lie or empathize with what she’s going through I just don't understand.

he has like 15% screen time, and it is needed they are throwing all the tropes best friend in love but not reciprocated it is usually main lead job but this time fell in 2ml lol

I’m sorry but people who can feel sad for Ji Hyeok’s pain yet make no effort to understand why Darim had to lie or empathize with what she’s going through are just literal guy worshippers. and it actually makes me happy that i don’t share the same mindset as them, It’s the same misogynistic pattern all over again, just like in My Dearest I remember when watching they would criticize GilChae lack of selfless love for male lead, but GC had other responsabilities to fulfill. same here! This is a rom-com Jeez...they will be forever happy and have triplets of their own.

She doesn't think she matters to ML that much that's the difference that's why she never has come forward about her feelings eihter....

he is depressed by himself also he is supposed to marry the other girl he made a promise to his dad too so either her fake marriage or his fake marriage was going to make him depressed.

yeah I think her acting is so great that she is supposed to make us cringy for the character itself KiYong too sometimes makes me cringy but its because he is so good at being JiHyeok lol since his only other role I like of him was in Come and Hug me a totally different character, but there are actors/actresses that are not supposed to make us feel cringy but they do by their acting lol.

I know what you mean I adored her character in My Dearest Gilchae but that was historical melo a little comedy punch sometimes, but seeing her here in this character so vulnerable and kind of doormat sometimes if we compared yes I agree is cringy at times, but it is not bad acting from EunJin actually it is what she is conveying the cringiness maybe comes from us audiences that saw her in other roles and this....but as I mentioned before I see the character not EunJin and if an actors makes me convey to the character that makes it a valid point for me...but again to each its own .... point taken!

no worries, he will be happy with triplets a wife that loves him and he loves, a healthy mom and a good mother in law, the beautiful family he never had...it will work out for him!!!! Let's just go through the angst together next episode he will know the truth he will just play along and get back at them lol

Ohhhh you must be kidding me, lol, these are two different 360 degrees characters, Da-Rim character IMO is perfectly cast, will she be given up what she accomplished by faking it until she makes it scenario for someone she doesn't know has these feelings for her, she could be a fling for him as much as she knows, but she does have feelings for him but she has to suppress them not for the faking marriage thing but because she feels she is undeserved and someone like him couldn't love someone like her and sorry but she conveys that to me, I love her in all her dramas and she portrays them all different I don't see EunJin in each of her characters I see the character. But that's just my opinion!

same same, I just wrote above this is a new take why no one complains when the one suffering is the FL for all the misunderstandings with the ML and SFL always, this is a new take and Ki Yong is such a good actor when yearning for love......so Im ok with it! Also, DaRim has suffered in other ways poverty, lack of a parent, her mom, stability etc. she will fake it until she make it she has valid reasons she won't give up what she has right now for a chaebol she doesn't know what his feelings for her are anyways....

its a kdrama they will use same tropes, but I like that in this one the fake marriage and the falling in love wasn't betwen main couple and she had zero feelings for her friend...so it makes it different, friend having feelings for her it is just a plus to make a little jealousy spark and spice up the romance....IMO it works out fine...if it wasn't like that there wouldn't be tension or angst and we need that in every kdrama lol Im ok with it.... and he hasn't been rejected he hasn't even told her and I think he will never do.....

Ive been waiting this drama for a long long time since they announced it so I was ready for everything NOTHING NOTHING HAS dissapointed me so far, the take on the ML being the one with the angst instead of the female lead like in most of the kdramas, on point! Ki Yong is an expert on yearning love dramas Love him for that.....also making the fake husband/friend actually have feelings for her makes it more interesting IMO since she has zero feelings for him and she will never do...makes both male suffer lol which rarely happens in kdramas lol and I love Eun Jin portrayal of DaRim she is strong but at the same time vulnerable, and her decission to fake it until she makes it her own family stability and herself makes it realistic that she won't give in because she has feelings/crush for a chaebol that will get married to another chaebol so that EMOE - Auntie thing was a game changer and will end those agony days for our Male lead I just want this to end with Darim and Ji Heok happy family of triplets and their eomas taking care of the kids along with them....yes that's my happy ending! Oh and they both working together in their own company along with the mom's squad!

Anywyas for all of you saying the ML is suffering because of FL, whatever! next episode Im sure he will know the truth but he will play along and get back at them he is a smart guy all this suffering he will revenge for an episode or so we need angst then we all have that happy ending!
