Why are y’all so overboard about this drama??? What’s wrong with it being a remake of another popular drama…
Agreed 100% that's why since they announced it i decided to wait for this version because I saw this coming but not to this magnitude, the comments against this remake without even been released were so harsh that put me off in watching the OG TW drama, now after watching this I really really loved it and the portrayal of it. And Im so open minded that Im willing to go and watch the OG one because i fell in love with this one with two actors I love but people keep forgeting Remake, adaptation, versions will be different all the time because of culture/acting/direction/dif scenarios. but ugh! so immature....
female lead looks like a full grown adult even her voice is quite mature, really bad choice for a student
I disagree. I think Jeon Yeo Been range was so good that she actually made me believe her different age portrayals, I was skeptical about it because eventho I love Tae Ri I had to drop 24/21 for this reason she really annoyed me at her portrayal of a 17 year old (grown 32 y/o woman irl) but each one has its own taste in actors/dramas.

To be honest i tried the TW version many times before this was announced, but fans of the original version started leaving mean posts in this page before the drama even started, so i tried to avoid any spoiler about the drama itself so I could watch this one with an open mind, and the fan war between original and remake stopped me from watching OG TW when they announced this I wanted to fall in love with this version bec this MC I love and enjoyed watching them together ❤️ now I'll give TW version a try every adaptation has its charm if don't compare it, you can't never compare your first/true love to all the other copies but each one has a good memory so I take adaptations, versions, remakes like that.
I honestly not into BL dramas either not bec of homophobic (before anyone says anything) but because one has its own taste in dramas but anyways I actually enjoyed it, was like a 5-10 mins lil plot,s and it was Rowoon and Ahn Hyo Seop two actors I currently like so it was ok with me !
People that watched the OG version are entitled to give their opinion that is fine, but why comparing it Gosh, any version, adaptation, remake or whatever your gonna call it, will not be as good as the first version you fell in love with but why downgrade it bec it didn't have the scene, the feeling, the charm etc. of OG. For me this version was my first and I loveeeeeeeeeeed it because I watched with actors I like, the TW I tried it many times many attempts but unfortunately I didn't click, didnt like the female lead there so waited for this one to come out, now I have a different mind set and will give the TW version another try because I loved this one, but I DO NOT COMPARE VERSIONS in any way in the past present or in future watch of any drama/movie, every freaking version, adaptation, remake will have the same source material but different feeling, scenarios and portrayals bec of different culture and actors for God's sake. Stop comparing enjoy the ride and treat each version with its own charms.

Not really, lol, I watch all kind of asian dramas even turkish but didn't know about the original until they announced this one, since I love Jeon Yeo Been acting wanted to give her a first try not a super fan of Alice, but I think once Im done with this one Ill watch the TW one.
Edit: Also, I got put off because of the backlash of the OG fans for this remake since it was announced.....but anyways since Im liking this version I will check out the OG source.

Nothing will be as perfect as something you already love it, that's why when they announced this with 2 of my favorite Korean actors, I decided not to watch the TW version I m not a fan of the lead girl and also I knew it was not going to be the same excitement for me since I need to like the leads to like a drama, but once Im done with this one since Im loving it I will probably watch the TW one and I never compare remakes, versions etc. they will never have the same ingredients but each one will have its charm. Like Boys over flowers I never liked any of them but each had its own charm Japanese never liked it, Korean I found Kim Bum, Chinese I love Dylan and the Thai one I love the female lead that overshadowed all the female leads from before.
As I said, never compare enjoy the storytelling and the acting of a plot you already know.

keep watching it clears a little by ep 3 and 4 about her...and then there are other twists lol haven't finished yet but Im loving it....I came to see the rating bratty people that watched original are rating it at 1 but no offense thats why I didn't watch original keep myself spoil free for 2 years wanted to see the version with YJB and AHS and Im loving it....
Love Love it and love the actors, set up everything thankfully I stopped myself from spoiling it by watching original or the plot or anything because I wanted to experience it with these actors and Korean style I love Jeon Yeo Been and she is amazing as always Ahn Hyo Seop was a nice surprise he really did good and his acting range is expanding loving his character so far same Kang Hoon just came to see the rating I see people are comparing to original, I knew it was going to happen since fan of the TW original were already trashing the Korean remake since they announced it but anyways many people like me didn't watch it and will love this version anyways because we can't compare to anything and this version will be more famous internationally because it is bingeable and Netflix original, but bratty people rating it at 1 what a nonsense .
