The filmography for the drama was supossed to take all seasons, and they were running against time so they had to do what they did in Alchemy of souls make it into 2 parts. So they can finish some filming in a particular season.

i don't know why Jh deserves someone better than GC, she did mature, he didn't the way he came to get her while she was going to marry another man he knew everything was a misunderstanding he should have waited and face the consequences together she didn't have to abandoned her family her people. As GC had flaws so JH, so no one is better than the other. He never wanted to compromise, his promises were vague, and he never was clear with her until maybe he left to the Ming.
Also, why not keeping their story My Dearest is about THEIR LOVE STORY ep 1 - 20 so at this point I think GC stayed with her family but she never get to marry the guy, JH went back to hunting people along with this new lady and probably she has a crush on him but no is not about a SFL taking the ML or if she does not his heart tho.
The drama is about longing for that love that cant become because wrong time wrong places but I think eventually they will find each other again.
We don;t know what happened in those 2 years, we will see when the drama comes back I feel if they keep it to the story and how these two love each other, Im thinking Gil chae for some reason never married the guy she stayed for the responsability of her family and JH probably went back to his deserted korean hunter years and now knows the girl and probably there is crush from her....I don't think he will have feelings for someone yet or ever they both My Deareast for each other.

If someone that has an opinion different than you responds the way you just did, it would come up kind of rude, I understand what the poster is trying to say in 7 episodes i felt bored for a couple of times and somethings are too cliche....maybe Im used to deep plots and good acting in general to get hooked, I loved Xiao Zhan in his period piece with QinLi that was all I wanted and got hooked since episode 1....this one is a tough one for me I think is a drop for me.

Both, the MC dubbed themselves, that's call acting, she can make childish voice and this soothing voice and she is showing us her range I love her.....
