For a saeguk it does...let alone the fantasy part....the 2 actresses from Joseon era are nailing it and they have the charisma contrasting the present time characters......

They are from the same writers of Marriage Lyrics..... so I wont be suprised if they make it into more seasons like that show and I think is going that route.

I think because she is also one age gap away from daughter in law, also Eon treated So Jeo very futuristically husband not for their era that's why she is adapting faster, so DuRiAn's becaus eof her age she is more conservative 100% also the botox part on the actress doesn't help either, she is actually over 50 y/o a few years younger than her mother in law, and let's not forget older than the 2 suitors past and present lol

I had no problem, if Ok she got the revelation and she had some approaches here and there but has become stalkerish but I understand that they are high society and family affairs in Korea have a different approach there than in western culture, but still is getting obnoxious only parts I fast forward then everything else Im ejoying specially the 2 josean ladies awwe at everything......

for the pace it will have more than 1 season because there is so much to do and tell and we are half way the drama....

I have to give it to the acting in this drama, specially the 2 actresses doing the Joseon era ladies, their contrasting aura versus present time characters while interacting is so on point......

I think that scene with the fire fighters eating home cooking meals and the videos was well executed I couldn't stop crying specially when the family was talking to them. Fire fighters is one of the most underrated jobs out there and the ones to be there when there is an emergency even that scene with the lady that got her ring stuck in her finger I love this drama not only for the romantic aspect since Im a sucker for it, and I dont mind the slow burn, the glances, tension etc. but I also love the scenes with the medical team and fire fighters with both leads stories apart interacting with their creew. This drama should have a higher rating I hope it does by the end everyone is doing a great job I usually skip this kind of dramas even with romance but bec I like both main leads I gave it a try and I got hooked....

I like the romance, but I think the whole drama in itself is very good it should have a higher rating, I guess people was expecting the usual fluffy romance, but this is based on a novel, so the romance is a slow burn specially for 40 eps also there is the other stories going on and so far the showing them in a really good pace I cant wait for the episodes to drop I love the support cast (fire fighters & medical team) stories etc.

No I don't think so, there was a talk with her roommates (Song Yan's cousin is one of them) about sugar boyfriends, where she said she wouldn't do that that she rather do part times, also when he offered her a job she declined it thinking it was something like that. I think she genuinely likes him IMO but she just approaches him now and then since he also puts the line between them

I love love love this drama after episode 11 or 12 the angst between them kind of went down so it is like they are falling in love again and Im ready for it plus the unit I love all of them and Jiang Yu for the best shipper ever......

guest star, they probably cast him for a few episodes for his name but the real Main lead is Yang Yang

OmG but Im glad more and more people are realizing the concept of this drama, and the chdramas IMO have never had this dept but after watching Where Dreams begin and now this drama I realize there is good actors and writing but not much opportunities because they want to milk out of the looks of the actors rather than their acting sure Yang Yang and WCR are easy on the eyes but their acting is so good that if not this would have been a flop.....I also have to turned off the comments on viki thank God Im watching from my tv now.

noooooooooooo never here, you won't have to, there is no need or space they love each other there is just this love - hate - love relationship going on throughout the years because of class differences but they had no eyes for no one else..... if you start enjoy it and be patience specially to the FL she is not the strong super woman she has social awkwardness so Im ok with that also that's why she gets the hate because she does it so good lol

Same Same thing just different actors (fluffy romances) and Im a sucker for romance but I need angst/drama/depth lol did you watch When Dreams Begin with Xiao Yahn and Li Qin I thought I never gonna liked it and I fell in love with them also very well written characters and plot.

well he has had main roles already...... not as Vin Vin also not the visuals but is well known now he is a support character I think they are creating another plot line for him anyways

they just upgraded to support cast so he might be a regular we are on episode 14 and it seems to be creating a plot line on the side for him so we will have him until the end probably

Exactly I forgot to put that, usually chdramas are known for fluffy romantic youthful comedy dramas. But Im getting greedy with chdramas lately because this kind of dramas are getting better. I watch from tv and when I watch on my laptop I turn off the comments they annoy me. Also we are on ep 14, we still 26 eps to go... 😶‍🌫️🤦‍♀️🙄

Yes but he first was a cameo, now he is support character, he is FL stepbrother (no blood related) . I know him and seen his dramas too but he can't be compared to yang yang not even in this drama either.
