No I got it, I know he has lots of fans everywhere and as I said nothing against him but I usually, in order to watch a kdrama or chdrama I need to like both of the mains, I was surprised I ended up liking this besides the leads, because of the theme and my surprise I now get it about XZ he is so professional and delivers so much emotions, like not only a pretty face, I love his cheerful self bec of bts. Its unfortunate, we still get deceived by a pretty face either in the right or wrong way.

Im a fan of hers since Princess agents, I think I was impressed by her then, also in Joy of Life, The Wolf, and one more i can recall at the moment, Ive been waiting for her to be given better choice in roles and also a good partner to shine, and this is it, also is good she is not a traffic actress which helps Xiao Zhan and herself + rest of the cast shine on their own as you say.

I know many here are devoted fans of Xiao Zhan, actually this is my first completed drama with him as lead because Im a devoted fan of Li Qin and I saw him in the Wolf and liked his chemistry there, even tho this is a military/political/romance I was hesitant to watch it but I actually ended up enjoying everything and Xiao Zhan is such a good actor and no one talks about Li Qin, I think they casted both perfect for this drama they so easy at delivering the scenes and their friendship makes it easy to work together and i just love them I wish they cast them in a xuxia or present time drama again.

Well it has 50% romance, but XZ and QL have that natural chemistry, that it feels they are playing romance in the background but it does have, and the latter episodes have been balanced at most of their relationship more.

Thank you I also went on Twitter as well to check, I guess the popularity trend is according to where you live, since Im in USA it trends at #3 but in Weibo and Tencent China is #1 per the charts I saw in twitter.

OMG same....she is so petty and the way he talked to Xiaomey at the end kept pausing and replaying lol, they know how to chemistry.....like the way he looks at XM he never did to HH......and I love it.

Im loving ep 23 and 24 and the coming previews...... XZ and QL know how to chemistry so casually I love it.... even if at the beginning he had a relationship with the other girl they didn't have show chemistry together, the way he looks at Xiaomei he never did that with HH, at least that's how good of the actor he is because they were not suited for e/o and us the viewers can tell.

well, there is actually the clip where he finally walks trying to save her from the bullies, so I dont think that's out of pure gratitude at that point he had developed feelings towards her, I think he started having feelings for her the minute he saw her at the train, that scene wrecked me, he is always the cheerful one but with xiaomei he can be vulnerable himself......

what I,m trying to say, we can't control other's people's behavior, I already learned and many as well, that's why we stopped the nagging many years ago, I already know don't go to twitter, YT, IG or here if Im watching a specific airing drama when I haven't seen the episode. It happens with every single ongoing drama, if I haven't watched it I don't open my laptop or don't go to certain sites until Im done watching the episode, and if I didn't on that specific day and Im behind shame on me for not doing it. But to each its own....good luck!!!

I love how their love story progressed slow, she fell in love first but he will fall harder. Already in prev for 23 i can tell....and no he is not going to love her for what she did that will make sense since she is the girl he ran into his first encounter (crush) at the library, he finally found the girl of his dreams (pun intendend).

I really really like this drama, not only bec I like the main (great acting) but the plot, and i don't like that time kind of chdramas but Im enjoying this so much. Anybody knows if this is popular in China?

Ive been in the internet since it came out Im gen x so i grew up with this, why on earth people still up to this day complains about spoilers when they open the internet or any social media, for GS if you don't want spoilers just stay away from it. We can't control what other people's post even with the nagging....I already learned like 10 years ago.....don't come to the internet if you are anticipating something or just dont read it scroll through......Period!

PS: they just show JoBoah and confirmed her appearance since it has been talked about since before season 2 started, we don't know if she will reunite or what?
