If you have been watching it is the same format since episode 1 everything is fast in this drama no time for big reveals and emotional one episode drags so it just continues with same flow.....

The Good Bad mother deserves all the love such a good written/acted drama so far my fave for 2023

I think so, because that way you will understand lee yeon going back to 1938 and the siblings relation ship they had in 2020 is more complex than in S2 1938 so I recommend you watch S1 first

I have seen many fantasy movies/dramas that they travel back in time but to a parallel world, we all thinking this is the case since Rang and Yeon are bonding since 1938 SO if it is the actual world we won't have the Rang of 2020 and Rang 1938 will live on maybe......ugh is so confusing right now....and like you I enjoyed S1 as well and Bo Ah as Ji Ah, although last episode was not as enjoyable as I wanted since I was crying rivers for Lee Rang death that I couldn't enjoy lee yeon and Ji Ah's happy ending!

I enjoyed Lee Yeon and Ji Ah on season 1 and Im enjoying Lee Rang and Yeo Hee as well, the latter is more fantasy like since both are mythological creatures one a fox/human the other a mermaid in 1938 so the atmosphere is also different.

Exactly i don't want this Rang to forget and then go on Rang 2020 like someone else, i rather have the theory of parallel worlds

That's good for TVN, and being a CJ and Studio Dragon collab never dissapoints regardless of the platform they use, Season 3 is Must IMO since I doubt they will wrap up everything in 4 episodes, they will get us with a cliffhanger on ep 12 and then come back on S3 to wrap everything up.

That's my theory Lee Rang 1938 and Lee Rang 2020 are in two different worlds, or something like that.... because even without the romance line Lee Yeon coming to the past and make Lee Rang a good person would alter what went on i n 2020.

I just hope they don't go the "let's erase memory because he can't handle the death of mermaid GF" I hope writers come with something else, I have watched other dramas where they go back in time but to parallel worlds, so the Lee Rang 2020 is from one world and the Lee Rang 1938 would be the parallel world so Yeon can go back and forth in the future where he can see his brother live a happy life. This is my wishful thinking lol

well that's your opinion, but the romance tag was there and romance line as well and it wasn't for lee yeon so I knew it was going to be Lee Rang's time. Im definitely on board with that romance line. Lee Rang is my favorite character in this series. I cried buckets in the last episode of S1 I couldn't even concentrate in the happy ending for Lee Yeon all I could think of was how Lee Rang didn't get a happy ending. Let's see how it goes in this one. The brotherhood is very well cemented now we have to see how the writers wrap up this season.

ps: also why it has to end in tragedy, we have to wait, I think we will have some fan service from the writers one way or another without altering S1 plot.

ugh I won't be able to take it, I hope they don't go the erase memory thing so he can become the Lee Rang of 2020 I hope they find another way to put the dots together. But if they continue this way Lee Rang 1938 is already a softball compare to 2020.

No No No I love Lee Rang he is my favorite character in all this series, and adding a love line is so good we can explore more of his character on how he can be being a lover, we know how he was with his hyeong and also if he marries, he won't be a loner anymore, I just don't know how the writers are going to pin the dots from this Lee Rang 1938 to Lee Rang 2020.....because he was a bad and mischievously dork.

Gosh Im loving this season so much OMG for those hating on Seohee character and actress, I think she already proved you wrong I honestly love her character so much she is a devoted partner like how they described them to be.....and she will do everything to protect Leed Rang, I wonder if those bad demons will do something to her also now that they reveal eating mermaid flesh gives immortality, I wonder where the directors are going with this information....ugh I can't deal with another heartbreak for Lee Rang in this season too, i cried so much in the last episode of Season 1 and now Im giggling seeing him alive and having his own romantic arc and character is like LR 2020 is meaner than this one, here his character still in puberty....love how Kim Beum portrays him......

Lol I watched it at my job while working, then watched it at home replay many scenes and Im still going on twitter and youtube fishing for those same scenes lol

I watch historical dramas depending on the actors/plot, this def got my attention can't wait...and Jae Wook does anti-hero, villains roles so well can't wait...same Jo Bo Ah, and let's see what lee jae wook has in store for us his role seems also gray....
