Tried to get into this drama but could not get past first 10 episodes.It is the same tale of almost every Cdrama…
Oh wow is a shame non xianxia drama has attracted me this way, I usually drop them at episode 5 or 6 because of this same reasons but this one was different oh well to each its own. But for me episodes 12-26 were the catalyst for me to pick this drama as my favorite one from 2022 even among my beloved korean dramas.

Well if you already watched half of the drama and you still dont like the female lead you either finish it bec you like Dylan or just drop it. I had the same problem in Miss the Dragon I finished it for Dylan but Bambi was just meh for me....
Ive been following these two since I first discovered them separately like 5 years ago, and was so thrilled they paired them in this drama, so nothing has changed in 2 years when it comes to their relationship, Ive been following their bts from back then and now with the drama airing and all the bts footage thrown at us plus promotional etc their interactions are the same like they really bonded for real, their bts skinship is out of any drama CP Ive ever seen also they were supportive of each other on this project like Esther would cry when Dylan cry for real or viceveras their chaotic behavior like they found each other their play dates.
So, after watching so much non stop content of them, I think Dylan fell harder with Esther and she did as well, but they are so young and their careers propelling they can't really be more than friends , but you can see body language DiXin gravity does not lie but maybe in some years this friendship with so much closeness blossoms into something else and we will follow them because after they gave us Fairy and Devil I will be camping here for a long time tho....
ps: Im not delulu I have watched most of their bts, reheasals, promotionals etc. everytime they are together they gravity brings them together like there is no personal space between these two
This drama is the "black horse" for me this year. I didn't even know about it! I didn't even know who Esther Yu…
I think they were both perfectly cast for their role, I was familiar with both and I wanted them to hit big, so I think they both put a lot of effort and their bonding on and off screen helped a lot tbh....I never seen a main CP so supportive of each other in their scenes together like this one of Esther comforting Dylan coming out of a sad scene there is also another one where she is crying seeing him act that scene, he is method actor he was QDFC for 6 months...... that's why heads down this will be my favorite xianxia chdrama ever and DiXin my favorite CP.....

lol no problem unfortunately some people don't know about why the director cast Esther, because she dubs her own dramas and can do the different tones personalities of Little Orchid...I got hooked since episode 1 since I know both of the actors from before and I was ok with the voice since the beginning but Ive read comments of people that also love the drama that didn't got used to Esthers voice at the beginning but after episode 9 they got into the plot that the voice was irrelevant
