Because he is no longer hiding his feelings. Those were moments when he showed his feelings but were also hidden. Since he is no longer hiding his feelings there technically is no need for them.

You should really read the tags before watching the show, it says right in the tags age gap, older women/younger male and age gap in show and real life. If you don't like age gaps which are very real in real life (this age gap is nothing), then you can just skip it instead of watching something you find disgusting.
