Looks like these new episodes are making up for the rough start, lol. The series is finally starting to redeem itself, and I'm actually enjoying it now.
My expectations for this drama were incredibly high, which makes it even more disappointing to watch. At this point, I feel like we owe vertical dramas an apology because this somehow manages to have even worse directing. The direction is so awkward that it makes the actors' performances come across as cringeworthy, even though I know they're capable of much better. On top of that, the editing is poorly done, with scenes that feel choppy and awkwardly put together. What makes it even more frustrating is that this isn't some low-budget production, it features well-known actors with plenty of talent. Unfortunately, instead of making the most of such a strong cast, the production ends up wasting their potential with weak directing and sloppy execution.
