Finished reading the novel to alleviate the torture of waiting. usually i lost interest in the drama after reading the novel, but man im not, coz novel is good but light, i like the depth of the drama interpretation. I like CFY interpretation of character, i can feel his love, his hurt and his no-emotion emotions.
I saw reviews already so contrast, there's even 5??? If you could think who can be Sima Jiao beside cfy for you to be satisfied? coz even the 2 i think who could will hard to imagine coz sima jiao is chen feiyu and WYL who could portray Lty comedic but not ao /exaggerate play?
I saw alot of popular dramas that i cringed with popular fl acting, but i don't with lty and to think she is young and less experience.
Why all the characters here has no qualms of killing sima Jiao? Like ruling, feng qi and the 8 sects. They just see sj as some wild super powerful beast that need to be slaughtered for its core/blood/flesh. For goodness sake he is human too.
I actually like the demon arc, the FL become a bad*ss and stand on her own, still her comedic approach is good, and the way she discovered what inside her soul manor is funny too (🍗 📓 💍) 😁 I love it. And I'm excited bout the human realm where this time sj forget lty.
I watched a lot of dramas this 2025, I liked some but it's always the actors who save the shit*y storyline. The only 2 dramas that have an impact on me with good storyline and perfect casting are prisoner of beauty and this when destiny brings the demon. Like you are just simply enjoying the show and not questioning 'the why that and this happen when" and you are seeing the effort of the leads to cover nonsense script.

coz maybe they both raised in the west so the swag seem similar but no, the other (KW) i find him arrogant but not with feiyu, on the other hand i like the confidence he got even when fans mob him he handle it well not afraid or intimidated.
