I first watched her in colorful bones, i liked her beauty then but she look different now, i have to check her profile before recognizing her, as if her eyes, check and lips undergo knife editing.
watched 6 episodes in 1 sitting. Lu daren all always get me hook up haha. RJL is really best at costume romantic drama and this is ofcourse also no kissing scene or no intimate lovey dovey. And I will watch it without the expectation of HE, to enjoy it well.
A drama that is not sad but characters always crying to look sad. Just watch for visual and acting. But the feel of the drama story .. nah.. coz it doesn't make sense just enjoying watching them looking sad and crying all the time. If im Wu Shi Guang, i will distance myself to these dramatic foxes hahaha
The advantage of having a handsome second male lead is i don't mind if Chun'er end up with yan xun or zhuge. Chun'er have chemistry with the ml 2nd ml and 3rd ml, so i like her interaction with whoever of these 3.

This drama have a solid acting from leads to the supports but why the rating is so low? I can also see the effort of the production put in this drama.
That's why season 2 is not a good choice of project, comparing from the fans of previous leads and crying out the difference is destroying the drama appeal in the audience.
Even after watching POJ i can still say this drama is really good. Im looking forward to updates every night. I watched this first then VOS after.
I like this drama, the storyline is solid so far, the characters are convincing even the fl who is a minor at that time can own up her character, the visual is also good. the cinematography is decent. LYR is really a good actor, give him a good script and he will deliver it in a gold platter.
not a novel reader, its how the script writer and director to give the best interpretation of the novel to put in the drama. 80% of Int'l viewers don't read the novel. I read the novel of WDBTD after watching the drama, coz the drama is so captivatingly good but the novel its just so so.

This is CFY drama and I'm excited bout it coz WDBTD is one of my fav drama of all time. But the cinematography of this drama is flat and storyline just so so. Usually I rate 10 the first 4 ep but I can't rate this until now, still waiting for something.
too much white wash and light to the point that all of them look sickly pale, even the general. Unless it is intentional that most of them are undead. Sorry not really particular about it but it is so obvious. The drama that just end, the lightning and colors are superb that so hard not notice in this drama.
