Ah that's such a cool coincidence! I've always wanted to visit Taipei, how was it? And I agree he is very handsome indeed, although I was more into Bo Xiang (again it's mostly his smile I love). It would have been crazy if you'd bumped into Zhi Gang's actor though, I wouldn't know what to do haha

Not me almost crying when Sun Bo came on the screen lol. I missed him and the other modc characters. Also my heart absolutely canNOT take Li Cheng and Mu Ren together. Their so adorable and I actually liked their evolution from best friends to boyfriends. And I'm so happy that Xing Si can finally be himself around his family now, he deserves to be happy.

The way I literally predicted everything down to Gene's dad not being straight, but I never in a million years thought Aoey liked Gene lmao. That was a really weird interesting twist.
Everything about this episode was great, and the cast did an amazing job.

I'd say overall I liked this season. The acting was spot on just like S1 and the cinematography was great too. And imo it's still in the top category for the best bl's. The only thing though is that it was a bit confusing, and also it felt kind of different from last season. The special quality S1 had was kinda lacking here, but honestly that's to be expected with such a big time skip. Unlike the youthful pining we got before, there was more angst this time.. which wasn't bad, but wasn't the same. Also I personally love the side couples, but I feel like the episodes were too short to properly develop their stories. Ie. I feel there's so much more to PSY and YZX's that we didn't see, and LBW and SZY hardly got any screen time so the ending sorta came out of nowhere. But still I enjoyed the season a lot, and after seeing the deleted scenes it does make more sense/ feel complete. I'm looking forward to next season because everyone is so talented and you can tell they work(ed) hard.

What I learnt from this episode is: Nubsib has apparently always been more mature than Gene, and some animals in Thailand definitely have part-time jobs as bl matchmakers

Yeah I think that's right. I hope they clarify what actually happened in the next episode though. Maybe MR will remember if something did happen after he took off his clothes, or not.

The first episode didn't really interest me more than confuse me, but then it got better and although it isn't the best series out there, I thought it was pretty good. Unlike other bl's at least it tried to tackle some issues ie. parental neglect/pressure, safe sex etc. And all the characters did grow eventually.. after the trillion misunderstandings they all had. So sure it was a bit silly but I don't get why it's disliked as much as it is?

Okay but the scene wasn't even real (or at least we don't know how much of it was) so how could it be representative of their trust? We already established that MR deeply trusts LC and would allow LC to see him at his most vulnerable from the scene where he was calling out for him, and then the whole undressing bathroom bit. If the writers wanted to illustrate this trust more then we would have seen a scene where MR asks LC to help him out or something, and then the dream sequence would have occurred in a way less sensual, natural-lighted way. But the dream that LC had was very clearly meant to illustrate how the way he thinks of MR has changed. He imagined a scenario where he helped MR in a low lit, steamy, red tinted room; the only reason for this would be to show he was aroused. Also MR was in different clothes which shows it was probably a dream. So I don't get how a scene that didn't actually happen can show how 'LC trusts MR completely'?

No I think LC was in the bathroom, because knowing how dangerous it can be when someones drugged, I don't think he would've left MR alone.
But yes he probably just glimpsed what was happening, and because he was aroused and now sees MR in a different light he had the dream.

Okay personally I'm really enjoying Li Cheng and Mu Rens' story. At first I thought I wouldn't like it because of the whole fujoshi plot. I thought it would be a bunch of fake moments until one time while they were pretending to like each other, they'd stare into each others eyes, romantic music would start playing and wHaM.. they'd suddenly develop "feelings". But interestingly I think the fj plot is just there so Mei Fang and the boss can point out the feelings Li Cheng already had. And I don't mind that. I like the way the plots kinda changed from the fujoshis just being fujoshis, to them being a source for Li Cheng to question his emotions. I also like how LC's character has developed. It was nice to see that he isn't just the unserious 'funny' guy, but someone who really proactively cares for his friends. The way he accepted Xing Si and stayed with MR throughout the whole incident was great.

It's disappointing though how after such a serious scene there were yet again no real consequences for the perpetrator, and how MR dealt with everything was glossed over. I understand this is supposedly a comedy series and MR is meant to be this really strong character but still. Also the romanticising in the bathroom scene was weird. I know it was a dream (probably meant to tackle LC realising for the first time that he's aroused by MR) but the writers putting that in takes away from the seriousness of what happened.

Other than that I still strongly dislike Yong Jie. I feel sympathy for him and want him to get help.. but there's no excusing what he did. He may be socially inept, but he obviously isn't socially unaware, since he already acknowledged that he knows what he does is wrong. So even though its probably futile, I hope he doesn't end up with XS. He needs to learn that XS isn't entitled to match the type of love he has for him just because he desperately wants him to.

I think it's because the clothed scene is Licheng's dream, that's why we saw him waking up shocked. In reality, he was in the room while Mu Ren was doing stuff, but I don't think he was involved like in the dream.
