I just said the story is about the male lead's flaws, emotional struggles, growth and redemption. I never said his redemption erased every wrong he did, nor did I claim he became the kind of man every woman can't resist.

The male lead is released from prison in Episode 1, so the story naturally unfolds the way it does. He's not boyfriend material, he's simply a complex character.

The female lead has her own childhood trauma and personality flaws, particularly her tendency to be overly forgiving. She isn't meant to set an example either, she's simply another flawed character with her own struggles.

Now you tell me since when has liking a story been equated with relationship preferences in real life?

If you are on ep 7 , then I am assuming you are hating him for being rude to Fang Shumanio. Well he is really rude in that scene , plus he do has a bad temper and he lacks patience. But Lighter and Princess is not the idealization of these traits. Because when you proceed further you will found him getting into trouble because of these traits. And his relationship with a close friend got strained forever partly due to his mistake and partly due to his friend's mistake. And then comes the redemption arc of male lead. So yeah the story is mainly about a flawed male lead and his character development.
