In Depth Review

For those of you who like to know what you're getting into:

FL returns home after three years abroad and learns that ML is dead. Except not really, she soon finds out that he's alive but her once best friend now hates her because her family destroyed his. Now he owns a farm left to him by an ex wife and has an adopted daughter. While the FL is trying to do everything she can to get him to forgive her for her family's deeds.
FL has a sister that used to date ML which could have been utilized for a longer and better storyline, but she has acid thrown in her face and is killed off within the first few episodes. Then commences a long tug of war in which the FL and ML take turns hating each other and causing each other pain.

The male lead is constantly using other women to get revenge on the FL and just when the ML realizes he loves FL. Of course, she starts to hate him. Throw in a few psycho exes and miscarriage and you've got a soap opera. The story really dragged on for those forty episodes.

Pos: The ML and FL clearly both love each other deeply.
Con: The story could have been done so much better, with less repetitive arguments and more actual drama.

The Truth

This was one of the best dramas I've watched in 2020!

It starts out when the three leads are children and goes to adulthood. Two men end up raising three children together, the 2 MLs are both abandoned by their Mother's while the FL's Mother dies before the start of the show.

The three grow up as siblings and best friends always there for each other. Until ML1 is guilted into moving away to take care of his sickly mother and sister. While ML2 leaves to go to school in England with his Biological Father.

They both promise to returns in a few years, the FL is devastated. Years go by and they keep extending their time away, until 9 years have passed. Both MLs return at the same time.

Pros:
ML1 has returned because he has always loved FL and wants to be with her. Their love is so beautiful and interesting to watch. The love that all three have for each other is amazing.

Cons:
ML1's Mom gets very annoying at times and I was hoping that the FL would stand up to her, but she never really does.

Detailed Explanation

For those of you who want to know what you're getting into. This story starts off pretty typically ML meets FL.
However, we later learn ML is married and FL is engaged. They start to fall for each other until FL learns that ML's wife is in a coma. ML and ML wife were on their way to get a divorce when they were in an accident which resulted in the coma. The most obvious thing happens with ML's wife waking up and trying to keep them apart.

With the FL trying to use another guy to get over ML. Every episode feels like them continuously breaking up, confessing love, or getting back together. ML continuously playing with the FL feelings for him until you actually want her to choose the other guy.

My favorite part: There are two friends of the FL that continuously act as the yin and yang characters. Acting as moral advisors to the FL. I really liked their dynamic. I also really enjoyed the cute moments when the Leads discover each other in awkward funny situations.

Dislike: There is a storyline between the two supporting females where one is secretly in love with the other. So whenever she finds love with someone the other friend always ruins it by stealing or sleeping with the girls boyfriends.

Even Better If: I think the whole story would have taken a less cliche ending if the two supporting female characters ended up together. I also think that they could have come up with a more creative ending.
