I was in tears through most of the last episode, sad for the ending, touched by the emotional closures for many characters, relief for the romantic leads continuing story (never a sure bet with Chinese dramas). For those experiencing withdrawal I suggest a lighter shorter yet visually and musically stunning work Lizzy wrote that was released last year-Secrets Happened on Litchi Island. Jinwoo dodged a bullet there. Seungho is very self-centered and immature. He cannot see beyond his own needs and is always looking for more, pouting when he doesn’t get it. His desire to get everything and give little in return was obvious. Cute, sure. But cute only goes so far.
Seungho self-centeredness and immaturity were off the charts. I found the final choosing session where he basically asked two people to compete over him repulsive. I was relieved for Jinwoo!

Payback was one of the main reasons I was not as focused on this drama!! It captured my heart and mind! I watched and rewatched. it’s almost embarrassing to admit how attached I became. I have not read your review of Payback, though, so I’ll do that.
Hello! I hope you are still enjoying this series. I find it really refreshing and appreciate also how quickly the dilemmas are resolved. I admire the actor who plays Wataru from his delightful role in Minato’s Laundomat. He’s wonderful in this role, too. As I watched episode 7 tonight I found myself thinking this series could well be an autobiographical story written by one or both MCs. 🥰 Call me a romantic!
Your review is masterful! How is it possible for this series to be so skillfully carried out? To entrust a complex and well funded project to such young talent (both directing and acting) is phenomenal. There were so many BLs competing with this that I did not spend as much time with it as I wanted. I’m looking forward to my first rewatch…and many more to come. I hope to see more of your thoughtful reviews in the future.
I’m here because Net is gorgeous and talented. it turns out jj is very comfortable in the spotlight, really quite the scene stealer. This is one of those series that has no real plot. I have no idea what motivates jj’s character. I watched him repeatedly try to escape even after he figured out he really is in a different time period. escape to what?? the professor sounds more like a shaman than a learned woman and he’s somehow memorized her every word. Pretty boys falling love will have to be enough, once again 🙄😍
oh yeah. haters don’t worry me. I couldn’t figure out why you thought people should come to one conclusion. is that even possible? it’s really rather funny to contemplate haters from all over the place meeting to figure it out! 🤣
