This drama is so fun! I love the unhinged FL and the comedy is very JDrama-ish. I need more weirdo FL/ML. Maybe I just want something different from KDramas coz lately I've been hooked with CDramas and vertical dramas. It feels good to be watching a KDrama again with amazing leads.
Different setting but the crying in the snow scene, three lifetimes / three time travels and mutual salvation kinda reminded me of Lovely Runner. Maybe the WTDBTD and LR couple can remake each other's drama haha. I just want to watch another drama again with good chemistry such as these two.

I believe he was reborn as Wei Jiao with memories of their 3 lifetimes. The OST songs lyrics all talk about reincarnation, although they can't say it in the drama coz of censorship. Also, he only smile softly like that to Ting Yan.

It feels like the censors let this drama get away with a lot of things - transmigration, bloodshed and ep 13. Good for us! How cute it is whenever Sima Jiao watches Ting Yan doing silly stuff and finds it amusing. The drama hasn't ended yet but I already miss them. I need the leads to act again in a modern drama but Arthur Chen should still play as a bad boy coz he is good at it.

Sima Jiao says that he's willing to give her a vacation/leave so does Sima Jiao still thinks misunderstands that Ting Yan's "vacation" is "dual cultivation"? At first I was confused why he said she's shameless, then I remembered that in these xianxia Cdramas, vacation also sounds like dual cultivation. Too bad they don't put it in the translation. What a funny misunderstanding.
Netflix did a good job picking up this drama. Grandmaster's beauty deserves to be viewed in high quality on TV. It also has my current fave airing JDrama so I'm a happy subscriber for now haha.
I love everything in this drama except the new title, it sounds generic that I can't seem to remember it. I prefer the title Offering Salted Fish to Master or Long for Fish or Xian Yu. But at least it's not Love or Legend or Blossom haha. Thank goodness we have a different kind of FL, a lazy salted fish with funny monologues which the ML can pry on from time to time. I'm kinda tired of the childish, immature, pure & always bullied type or the cold, arrogant, righteous, OP type. FL here is just a normal modern day office worker slacker. I hope the drama stays lighthearted till the end.
Who else thinks that the stepdad is sus? He has so much disdain for hosts, he might be the stabber, he works with sharp objects. Taiga's dad /his love rival might be a former host. It seems to be a popular theory that the host club owner might be his dad or at least related to his dad. He said that being a host is the only way of living for him. Due to past criminal record or he also has disabilities like Taiga.
