She then once again exploits Liu Ruyan's hatred, manipulating her into assassinating the Emperor and taking him down with her in mutual destruction.
In the end, the Fourth Prince, raised single-handedly by Su Lüxia, ascends the throne. Su Lüxia herself becomes the Empress Dowager, unparalleled in majesty, the fate of the entire dynasty resting at the flip of her palm.
