Overcome Your Fears with the FreeBirds

One of my top BL's, heck more like top dramas. I really enjoyed it. It was so moody and the use of colours was very impactful on the story. Everything was great; the acting, the directing, the cinematography, the OST. I find myself listening to the songs over and over again just playing back these scenes that I associate with the songs now, and when a drama does that for me, it hit a soft place in my soul. It was just an amazing story that was different and touched on a lot of subjects that are very relevant today. I loved the way it was filmed, you can tell every camera movement was meant to be that way. I loved the main actors chemistry as well, their moments were super cute but also I felt like they really cared about each other deeply, so the difficult times they went through felt realistic. They did a great job portraying the characters. Thank you to all of the actors, actresses and staff on the film! Please watch!

Love from a FreeBird.

Magic, Swords, Friendships and Soulmates

So normally, I am a person who only likes romantic kind of dramas because I like seeing relationships develop, so I was apprehensive about watching The Untamed because I knew that they would be "soul mates" but we wouldn't see anything because of Chinese BL censorship. HOWEVER, PLEASE WATCH THIS EVEN IF YOU WANT TO SEE IT ALL OF THAT. There is more built into their relationship than in most romantic dramas I have ever watched. I swear to God there's something about a bromance that turns into love that is the sweetest thing ever. The eye staring, the cute bickering, them saving each other, etc. It really doesn't feel like there was much missing between the two of them and you can tell they actually are gay which is the best part. It's a wonderful story, and if you like wuxia, magic, swords, friendships, a strong gay bond then this is the show for you. This story isn't just about them, and I love how every other character played into their relationship as well. If you still are unsure, I suggest watching a funny gay complication of their moments on YouTube, that's what made me more inclined to watch it and my life is different because of it! Please try it, if you aren't hooked in 2 episodes, you're lying to your self ^^

Dark Political Romance

I should first say that I have see OffGun in Theory of Love prior to watching this so perhaps I have a bias, but wow their chemsitry in this show is amazing. So beautiful. I could feel their emotions through the screen. I honestly cannot believe that this show isn't rated higher than 8.5. There are many great aspects to this show, including the story. The political unrest is so powerful and I felt really moved to get involved more into politics because of it. Also, if you are thinking about watching this show but maybe thinking you shouldn't because its too poltical, trust me when I say I normally don't watch this theme, but it was so emotional and fantastic the way they protrayed it. I won't spoil what happens but lets just say that Gun has some serious duality in his acting abilities. I truly believed when he was playing Black, he was Black and when he was playing White, he was White. Amazing to see the twins on screen together too. Of course Off and the rest of the cast were great as well, but Gun had a good challenge. I enjoyed all the secrecy and fighting too! Lastly, the music in this show also takes it to another level! I love listening to the OST and I am transported into each scene based on what song I'm listening to. I love it. I gave it a 10 for myself, but a 9.5 to other people who may say something is wrong but i honeslty don't know what people wouldn't like about this show :)

Cute, Funny & the Guy sees the Girl First

This show was really good. I don't have much detail to write but trust me when I say that it is a good show if you like these Asian college romances. It has a lot of great writing and acting, there are some twists of course but it is worth the ride. I loved the main characters but Simon Gong who plays the lead guy is so freaking cute and quirky in this show. It has a lot of funny moments but a few intense ones as well. Let's not forget the fact that he sees her first. I mean how many of these shows are like that? Not many!! It was so refreshing. He doesn't seem like the type to be like that but ugh it was so cute and well done. Overall it was soooo good. Watch it :)
