SPOILER! After 40 episodes and countless battles, I had to detach from what was coming. The production was fabulous. My only critique were the endless battle scenes. Instead of focusing on a love story, the main focus was on warring and killing. The main leads were lacking real passion, for such a great love. Several hugs and dead fish kisses. The ending made no sense. People can interpreted as they want to. Did I enjoy it, yes with the exception of the end. There’s no glory in death. Would I watch it again? No.
I feel it’s a move in the right direction.First time I watch a good representation of a Chinese BL Damei novel. Although I have reservations with some of the casting. I felt some plot holes and story presented in a confusing manner. Worth waiting some months for a re-watch.❣️ Ps: Started on the novel but left it due to the monotonous, over the top smuttyness.
This show could have been so much more….The 2 girls romance was so silly that I completely tuned them out. Tongrak flakiness was a bit much. Specifically towards his father and being able to pronounce 3 words “I love you” Mahasamut was solid throughout. Loved him. Did I like it. YES. Did they miss opportunities to make it into a fuller story yes. Do I recommend it, yes.
Well, it is what it is. Thank you for all the information written. Finishing episode 24, I felt like shaking my I-pad to irrationally see if something else would come out of this story. Admittedly it was entertaining. I did feel that the continuing fighting scenes were too much. Too much time was spent on the obsessive behavior from our villain. The love story was watered down to the point of nothingness. As was the vampire action. Not even going to mention the ending. That felt like WTF happened here. The female leads sexiest look was when she cut her own hair. Then they turned her into a frilly dressed girl. In some scenes she looked like 14 instead of 18. I loved the vibe and the story overall. But it could have been much more… .
Women obsessed with men to the point of harassment, becomes very annoying.🤦♀️
