I can’t believe I missed this jewel of a story. Unpretentious but filled with beauty and life lessons. I can’t recommend it enough. Realistic to hilt!Loved the leads.
This series is just boring. Reading comments here that the source material is sexually explicit just makes it…
Thank you for validating how I feel. I don’t see any plot development at all. They act like a school bunch. Lin acts like a 13 year old virgin. I’m hoping they develop the their past life into an engaging plot, because the boss, prudish boyfriend , corporate BS is over used and boring as hell. Giving it one more episode.🤷♀️
I don’t know if I want to finish this. This just reminds me of the drudgery of forcing relationships. Being an elderly person, being through this myself, the best option that has worked for me is freeing myself and taking care of me.
Finally this episode felt like a bit of air conditioning in the desert. 🐪 Joe loves Ming and Ming loves Joe. Period. In the novel the time periods are extended so you can appreciate better, how Joe slowly warms up to Ming seeing his constant sincerity. I do hope that Tong gets his divine retribution. I’ll be happy just seeing him kicked out of the family and broke. Ming did the smartest thing. By coming out, no one can hold this truth against him. Hoping the story is wrapped up nicely!
Glad I’m here reading the comments. On episode 6 becoming rapidly disappointed. It had the bones of a good story which is wasted forcing it into a mediocre romcom. The trafficking of antiquities and the Village are interesting concepts. There’s enough there to intertwine good romance and mysterious thriller. The worst character is the female lead who at 30 can not differentiate between heart disease and the nervousness of liking someone.🤦♀️ Again, I’m not here to Trash it, but to lament the lack of intuition of the writers. They had a good concept, but maybe to appeal to a certain market, were unable to take it to the next level. Dropped.
Beginning to become disappointed. There’s no depth to this story. Maybe hoping to see Something sultrier, than social workers and lawyers being threatened by bad characters. Fon’s constant wavering towards Mai is quite annoying. High school stuff. The background music score is bad and repetitive. Hoping it picks up.
Yes, this touches all the cliches and cringe of k-dramas. But prepare for a good laugh. On episode 3 and genuinely enjoying this. The leads are adorable and the ML is MAMA MIA! Such a shy and naive ex-bad boy. Truly enjoyable to watch. Comedy done well.👏👏👏
On episode 6 and Fons prickliness is starting to get on my nerves. I hope this doesn’t turn into another run of the mill, Lakorn. It’s not right to continue to tether the police agent 7 years, when it’s obvious he’s pinning for her. Crossing my fingers for her character becoming more assertive.
