Many relationships start off with sex and not getting emotionally involved in many instances is better said than done. This is what’s being portrayed.Love is different for everyone. Not all have the luck to step right into it. My personal story would be an enemy to lovers one. I even acused my now husband of 20 years, of trying to poison one of my pets. Life is a tapestry of stories. So I’m enjoying theirs for what it is!🤭😁 I hope you do too!❤️😊

Finding out who you really love, can be messy! Great show Inn has such beautiful expressions. I feel he is truly maturing as an actor. His pain and dismay when Yak left…👏👏👏
This is not horrid. But it comes across as a little lewd and sordid to me. Entertaining if there’s nothing else. Dropped on episode 2. Messy script, overused story line.
Just enjoyed this drama. The story is very heartwarming. The only retractor is the constant focus on the egos and business aspect. The romance takes a second seat. The leads were adorable. But the brilliant ML. is emotionally autistic not being to express his love until the last scene. Entertaining but would not watch again.

If you ever have the time, the link for the book translated to English is on the top of this page. Takes about 2 days of reading 5-6 hours!I was lucky to be on vacation 🤭👍

In the book the time line is longer between the initial arrangement and Ming’s realization. We still don’t know if Joe denies everything. I recall there was 6 months between one and the other. In this time, Ming continues to be arrogant and cruel but little by little becoming enamored with the new Joe. Not really knowing why. He uses Joe for a stand in, but wants him with him most of the time. A juicy read I must say!🔥😁
Having read the novel I can say that this episode has been toned down. This is a great production, staying as true to the novel as possible . Nevertheless, read the novel if you get a chance. The time line is better defined. Loving this show!🔥🔥🔥
Sorry but JOE SOLD HIMSELF TO MING LIKE THAT??!??? BRUH!??! I thought he will work for Ming to get rid of his…
Those two are fated. When I read the novel I realized how enormous the financial burden was. The characters of Ming and Joe are more “ fleshed out”. You understand better why Joe does what he does. Happy viewing! Can’t wait for next week!
Revisiting this masterpiece with a total binge! So many details were lost watching it week to week. When it was originally aired. This crew did a wonderful Job. Very well balanced. I hope to see them in other productions.❣️❣️👏👏
I just finished watching this. It was entertaining . The story covers many years. She simply loved him since her youth. He, being the adult tried to put time and mileage between them when he also started falling for her. They were already adults. I don’t judge these types of movies. I felt all the social implications were addressed. The end was fitting.
So grateful to finally be able to see this special episode. But I must admit that it still leaves an emptiness that can only be fulfilled with the second season and proper closure. Thank you for providing the link with subtitles!👏👏👏🌺
Then just focus on #timeline 2 then. Unfortunately the overbearing chinese mother-in-law is a reality, albiet…
Thank you. I just was raised in a very different society. Her behavior would be considered a big red flag. A blatant intrusion on a couple’s privacy. To each their own.😂🤷♀️
I hope you do too!❤️😊
