I think there is some problem with this site, if you check the rating graph you can easily see majority of the people giving it 8.9 rating while the least no. Of people in particular age grp have rated this 8.0 . I don't know how this drama is getting average rating of 8.0 by that logic.

Liu yuning and reba are just very good friends, nothing wrong with him coming to support reba and her drama plus he has done an ost too in this drama. At this point I would say, just treat haters as some barking dogs, they are never going to be happy with whatever reba does. Talking about cfy and reba's chemistry, this is just the very first day and people are already liking them , there are many more episodes to come, if they remain this good more people will eventually love them.

Due to her schedule, and going by the interview of the cast of truth 4 liuyuning really tried to get reba and baiyu to join this season too but he was not able to. I think there is strong chance reba is actually joining a drama team soon.

Yes it has war and politics involved in human world while supernatural world also have it's own ongoing politics for coming into the power but in the book I would say it's less complex in comparison to human world. But going by all the clips and the actors involved in supernatural world it seems they have developed it more in the drama.
If it does very well later I would be very happy about it and if it doesn't l am fine with that too.
