This is incredibly heartbreaking. It’s an excellent film, but it’s a horrific story based on the Gwangju massacre from May 18-27, 1980, when more than 2,300 people were murdered by the US-backed ROK troops. this was one of the more realistic portrayals of the Gwangju massacre that I’ve seen. Absolutely heartbreaking.

It really felt like someone else wrote the last three episodes. It was such a good show before then. Episode 16 was just bizarre, I understand they were showing time passing, but it was so abrupt and they showed nothing that led up to it. Really disappointed that it fell apart.
