I was thinking what yeon si eun was saying in the first clip of the drama but when J.D Salinger’s name came i understand the concept. In his 1951’s novel catcher in the rye In chapter 22 holden(protagonist) uses this phrase for the first time telling that he imagines a field of rye full of children and he was the only adult their at the far end on a cliff saying he have to catch everybody if they start to go over the cliff—“I mean if they're running and they don't look where they're going I have to come out from somewhere and catch them. That's all I do all day. I'd just be the catcher in the rye and all. I know it's crazy, but that's the only thing I'd really like to be. I know it's crazy." The protagoinst in this novel hates the idea of growing up and becoming corrupted(adults, society). Hence, he wants to preserve the innocence of the children for their lifetimes which is a unrealistic or you can say crazy idea. In the novel he is forced to come to terms with the reality of growing up something that he struggles to accept but too powerless to effect change.
I gotta ask someone, does the FL does that cutesy voice the entire show? or is that her literal natural voice,…
but this time, I loved it because she was witty in this drama, in comparison to her character in Sword and Fairy. I think i love this drama even more than the love between fairy and devil.
Hope they do so. Cause this one is really a masterpiece. I usually start skipping korean dramas when I reach episode 9 and episode 13-16 onwards for chinese but I have not skipped even 5 seconds of this drama. It’s so indulgent and good.
